Why the hate on "Bandwagon" fans

Cam is doing exactly what he is supposed to be doing. He brings the Panthers national attention which helps in expanding it's fanbase.

So you've been a fan since '95. Who the fug cares. Those are mostly wine and cheesers anyway.

Welcome to all the new fans of the Carolina Panthers. I personally am glad to have you here....try the veal

I fugging hate the fans of _________________ (insert team here).

I welcome any and all newcomers to Panther Nation. Nothing I would love more than to be good enough and have a big enough bandwagon to be able to squeeze all these transplant fans (I'm looking at you Buffalo, Green Bay, Pittsburgh, New York, Dallas, Washington, Cincy, Cleveland) out of BofA on gameday. If we can put together a string of successful seasons, this town will truly bleed Panther colors and we can finally push the haters to the curb.

Real fans have been around since '95. They even went to Klem's Son. They love the Panthers through thick and thin, still wear Jake Delhomme jerseys and rock those Mom jeans with the Panther patch on the ass.

Don't you know?

They like the stadium half empty so they can carve out a little space in society for themselves to excel at.... the superfans...come rain or shine, they've got dip!

I admire them and I hope they all get a statue in Jerry Richardson's front yard. They don't like newcomers and don't have to. Newcomers don't even know who Lamar Lathon is. I mean c'mon. How can these new guys be fans if you don't know all about Lamar Lathon? They were there first gotdammit and they are proud of that first and foremost!

I bet the lot prices just went up another $5 while I was typing this...damn bandwagoners. Have you SEEEEEEN the ******* drive thru line at Bojangles lately? They were even out of sweet tea last Sunday morning! I could only get three and half gallons. See! Now they are rationing sweet tea! For the love of God!

This Cam think is getting out of hand. I miss John Fox.

    • Who is "they"?  Who in the media still argues that Bryce Young could reach the levels that people thought he would before the draft? I mean, nobody is going to come outright and bash the kid.  By all accounts he's a good dude and I think that is why you don't see the media come after him like they did Zach Wilson.
    • It started during the Denver game after that first drive. i don’t think the panthers got a first down again until the fourth quarter.
    • The Panthers will finish with at least 7-8 wins.  So that leaves them with only two "smart" choices in my opinion: 1. Sign a reasonably priced free agent QB and see if they are better than Bryce Young in training camp - The issue is there will be very little options.  There is almost no way the Colts let Daniel Jones walk.  Rodgers, Flacco, and Wilson will likely retire (and is Wilson better than Bryce anyway?).  Winston is under contract with the Giants for another year.  That leaves Mariota, which I'm all for, but the Commanders will make a big push to keep him given Daniels' injury history.  Outside of him, there is literally nobody else. 2. Stick with Bryce Young for one more year - Nobody wants this to happen, but the Panthers won't be in a position to draft one in the first round and it isn't a strong class to begin with.  Mendoza, Simpson (and do we really want an Alabama QB?), and Moore will likely all be off the board by the time we pick.  Bryce isn't good, but we are still 5-4.  I'd rather continue to build the rest of the team than reach for a QB.  Then we could set ourselves up nicely in 2027 to make a splash play if we choose.  This is how we should have approached years past; stuck with Kyle Allen or Sam Darnold or Teddy Bridgewater and kept building the team until we were ready to make a splash.  But every year we panicked and did something stupid. There is the idea you could throw a dart at a guy in the later arounds, but IMO this just isn't a good QB class and odds are it will be a wasted pick.  I still think we need a lot of depth on the defense.  I'd rather focus there.
