I'm still perplexed at all of the whining. We were 2-16 over our past 18 games coming into today and half the Huddlers are unhappy even though...

- We won

- Covered the spread

- Cam looked fine overall for his third start

- Cam led us on a 4th quarter comeback drive where he looked perfect

- Had the first semblance of a ground game

- No sacks

- No turnovers

- Cut the number of blown coverages down to just the weird play at the end of the first half

I really don't get it. Are our standards really this high after an 0-2 start and a 2-16 record since Opening Day last year? Or would people rather see Cam Newton being talked about on PTI after another 400 yard game? I think that might be it. There is a segment of the fan base that would much rather hear Colin Cowherd spend more segments praising us in defeat than nobody on ESPN mentioning us in victory.

Season was over if we didn't win today. Now we are still 1 back of the division lead with hope.

This win didn't instill hope for next week but making a butt-load of mistakes that you can learn from in a win is good.

It remains to be seen if J'ville is sorry. They had sorry QB play in the Jets game. I think Gabbert looked pretty good for a rookie considering he's had very few reps.

We didn't look good but a bad win is gonna be better for the team's mental outlook than a loss with zero mistakes.

On the 2 pt. conversion, I agree with the call. A 5 pt. lead is no better than 4, and a 6 pt. lead forces the Jags to make the extra pt. to win.

We won, I was happy.

To be fair to Chud, Cam was way off today. He's a rookie, it happens. I seriously think Cam gets at LEAST 250 yards or more today if he wasn't overthrowing receivers all over the place. He'll work on it.

Stewart looks good, DWill looks terrible. You think he got his money and is done? Not sure. Anyway, Stew's run that got called back was BS, and we could have got another score there. Stewart had a great game, and DID put some on his shoulders. This is GOOD for us.

Hardy/CJ look beast. I'm excited. McClain looking a bit nasty out there, I like it. Pugh wasn't as bad as I expected, BUT it was the Jags, hope Godfrey is back soon.

Cam had a bad game, but still had 150 yards, a game winning TD, and NO INTs (lots of luck there).

A win is a win, I do not care about the stats at the end of the day. As long as we came out with no injuries I do not see how you can be upset after a win.

Had a hard time being excited too. Very sloppy game, weather and all, but did we really expect another 400+ passing game? It'll come back but had to come back to earth eventually.
