Yeah, but the majority of that 63 came off the screen. Find a guy on the huddle that can run a 4.5 or 4.4, throw him the ball and let him run... I'm willing to bet he'd get the same amount of yards, although he would probably die from the hit at the end.

Point is, he got his yards off a well designed play where he didn't have to catch the ball under duress. This is key because part of why he fails so often, in case no one has noticed, is that he, not being a natural receiver, let's the ball into his body to catch it instead of using his hands.

Everytime he has been counted on to make a catch aggressively or fight for the ball, he fails, because on a fundamental level, he can't catch.

LaFell needs to be getting his reps, regardless of how he looks in practice. The other guy we brought in from SD prolly knows the offense just as well, let's see what he can do... At this point, I don't care, Naanee just shouldn't be playing, and definitely shouldn't be the #2 WR.

    • I thought Dart played well last night.  But he was horrible against the Saints.
    • Im glad physical running is in fashion again. If it sticks we should see physical linebackers and safeties. The game needs this.
    • The walls are closing in on bryce to be a positive factor. You cant hide his struggles behind the teams deficiencies anymore.  The o line is solid. The run game is legit. We have seen plenty of times now Canales dial up plays that should have led to Touchdowns just for bryce to overthrow a open receiver. The defense is becoming respectable and holding their own even when down multiple scores and turnovers to allow the offense opportunities to close the lead.  The fact that bryce is still showing inability with all these team positives just goes back to what some of us have been saying since day one. Even if The team is good or bad. It is not holding him back from being great.
