Vikings fans saying some really good things about Cam

I swear it was 2/3rds of the jerseys I saw yesterday, my friend who was a Vikings fan was absolutely embarrassed to see that.

The best one was a guy wearing a Favre jersey, purple windbreaker pants, and purple crocs. And yes the guy was in his mid 40s. And what was with every male Minnesota fan there sporting a Dave Wannstedt-esque mustache?

There was a group of Vikings fans sitting in from of me in section 115. I was drunk as poo and kept spilling nacho stuff on them when I would stand up to cheer.

Ah, you were one section over from me. Did you hear the "Move those chains" chant?

EDIT: Also Did you also see the two guys with their brand new Ponder jerseys? The one dude was seriously wearing golf gloves and purple socks pulled up to his knees.

Yea, no. Newton is a year away from being better than everyone but Brady, Rodgers, and Manning. His arm is ridiculous. Ponder is our guy though, and definitely looks like a keeper to me, but let's not pretend that Newton didn't look amazing. Newton is accurate and doesn't hesitate to go deep. He's everything Big Ben pretends to be without the Jekyll and Hyde tendencies of Big Ben.

There's no need to hold onto your false pre-draft opinions when his play this year has shown what he really is. You can say Steve Smith helps him, but you still need a big and accurate arm to make Smith matter in a game. Newton is already better than Vick ever was, so those comparisons are dumb.

Smart man, except for the fact that he is already better than everyone but those three if you go by the numbers alone.

You know its funny that when we have won opposing teams fans have had nothing but good things to say about him, but when we lose teams fans say he is not that good and there QB is better.....LOL i have been reading it all season. Cam will be a god when we start winning on a consistent basis.

Lets be real here, if we had Cincy's D we'd be 6-2 or 7-1. If we had Cincy's schedule we'd be 8-0. Us being 2-6 has nothing to do with Cam's inefficiencies.

Besides Brees, Brady, Rodgers, or Rothlisberger, what QB in this league would you take over Cam right now, even for just 1 game? Did you ever think that would happen after just 8 NFL games?

Brady and Rodgers came into the league with arms that weren't considered strong. They still don't have 'rocket' arms. RBerger, Flacco, Russel, Mallett, Cutler, etc.

Maybe im crazy but Rodgers has a freaking cannon. Probably the fastest release in football, and pretty much every short pass seems to be thrown with remarkable speed and accuracy. Also, Brady still has a cannon. I remember a couple years back, i saw him bullet a pass 50 yards down the field on a rope. I was watching the game at the time with my cousin and i turned and said, when the hell did tom brady get a gun like that.
