Right lol. We had some great moments with Jake. After a couple of seasons and playoff wins it will be Cam.

No, until he totally fell apart in the playoffs in '08, Jake always seemed to make plays when it mattered. Cam hasn't come close to having the 4th quarter moxie Delhomme had. Jake gave us Panther fans some great memories and won a lot of games, I say it's too soon for this thread. Cam will get there though.

Boy people will forget what you do for them in no time.

Jake will always have a special football related part of my heart because he got us a #2 playoff seed, an NFC Championship berth and a trip to the Super Bowl. Jake NEVER complained in interviews, was always the first to take the blame,VERY humble and was quite the funny character. So I will say he's definitely my favorite as far as what he has done.

I can't lie though, Cam has brought this great coolness to the organization. On 3rd and 8 with 2 defenders around him I find myself thinking "RUN CAM GO GO GO!!!" expecting him to pull some magic as he's done SO many times. Where as with Jake I just didn't want him to fumble if that situation occurred. Cam is a different breed where Jake was more of a conventional QB. But he also has to learn to keep some opinions to himself which Jake had no problem with. Cam has the "it" factor/marketability where you could see him being on like Dancing with the Stars that no other Panther has had.

So I would say Cam is by far my favorite to watch and what not, but you can never forget the wonders that #17 did for this franchise (obviously not including post Arizona).

1. Kevin Greene on late 90's teams

2. Steve Smith for the last decade+

3. I imagine Cam will be my favorite once Steve decides he is not doing it anymore.
