Quote from Denver Broncos' owner

I find this interesting...sounds a bit like Jerry Richardson...quoted from the Denver Post's writer Mike Klis:

"Not a bad season but not a great season, either," said Broncos owner Pat Bowlen, as he walked out of the bowels of Gillette Stadium. "I want a great season."

We know all about those 'not bad seasons'.

Oh yea...we all know the 'it is what it is' crap or 'run the ball on 3rd down and 20'...and my favorite....we are down by 22 in the 4th quarter; let's kick a field goal.....they'll figure that cocksucker out. New coach in Denver this time next year.

reminder Pat Bowlen is completely senile and likely okay'd the Cutler trade because he forgot about the conversation he had with him promising he wouldn't.

so then he's more unstable than richardson

don't know if Fox has the kind of job security he was used to here

    • I don't really care as much about athleticism and arm strength.  While Murray might be better in that regard, I think Bryce has enough of both to do well in the NFL. The main reason this trade reference is silly is the money and the fact that Murray has been around a long while and hasn't proven that he can perform consistently when the game is on the line.  Bryce has shown that he can play well in the clutch (in the few opportunities he has had).
    • If Bryce can continue the level of play he showed after the benching, then there's a good shot we at least compete to win the division. Tampa is a solid team but even last year in our week division they went 10-7 and will be on their 4th OC in as many years. The Saints are a mess and are in a mist of a half rebuild half still trying to compete mode and will probably be starting a rookie QB. The Falcons are a wild card as they have a really good offense but are we really crowning Michael Penix as a franchise QB after just 3 games?  The only thing I want out of this season is for Bryce to come out and without a shadow of a doubt prove he's our franchise QB. If that happens then most of the fanbase would be happy and I believe we'd be in a good place record wise at the end of the season. Maybe falling just short of winning the division with a chance to sneak in as a wild card team.
