We'd owe Clausen $923,000 if he's still on the roster next month and this article kinda hyped him up a lil bit. And I agree to the tune of how he handled the entire situation publically, but I really hope that it's just hype to trade him.

I think that he's gone, but not before they try and see if they can get anything at all for him, even a 7th rounder. And that's why word's out that he's possibly hanging around for another year.

Clausen will probably get another shot to start somewhere, and may even make something of it. But his skill set is just way too different from Cam's to make him a reasonable backup in Carolina, even without all the hate from the fan base.

We don't need a 3rd QB. Two will be just fine. We can use the roster spot on someone that can help out on special teams and/or a good rotational guy.

i still dont know why you guys hate this kid so much. some people can come in and be studs right away, like Newton. Some take time. Only one NFL executive saw anything in Farve, Steve Young, and countless other QB's only for them to go on and have fantastic careers. Remember it was technically his senior year of college when he started for us. Yes, i know that same can be said for Newton but I addressed that at the start of my post.

3 years to be groomed in the NFL and who knows what he could look like in a preseason/relief. Then you ship him out for a Kevin Kolb/Charlie Whitehurst trade, win.

I dont hate Jimmy, I just hate that he couldn't handle the snap under center, he only read on side of the field, he throw the ball away countless times on 3rd down, he looked lost most of the time and he don't have it. Other than that, CUT HIM!!!!
