And The Golden Calf of Bristol is a brand that ALOT of people buy into. Which is the reason why one day after Peyton is signed... The Golden Calf of Bristol gets picked up. The dude wins games... sells tickets, jerseys... And TV ratings skyrocket when he starts.

The Golden Calf of Bristol's worked for everything he's gotten. And it got him traded. I think that's what people mean in regards to Elway. They didnt even consider keeping The Golden Calf of Bristol because they never wanted him.
