Yeah, one of the times my Mother and I would go to Indianapolis for Christmas and coming back driving through Lexington Ky it was snowing and the roads were worse than in the vid. A Semi passed us and basically made us hydroplane, slid around and down into the median. We were lucky as hell I still get chills when I think about it.

That is so sad. So freaking sad. That reminds me of this one incident, well more like accident. It was around 01-02 when I lived in Raleigh. This guy and girl were on a motorcycle and I can't recall what happened that the girl just fell off the bike, I had two cars ahead of me and the car right behind of the motorcycle hit what seems to be the girls cranium. I caught a glimpse of it and I'm sure the girl didn't survive. Looked very fuged up. There's no way that woman survived, the dude just kept driving and left her there..

There was another accident this time involving a state trooper on a bike, it happened in Raleigh, the dude was chasing someone and he was going way too fast. I saw him fly by me as I was pulling over. The road was turning and he was going too fast he smeared himself on the wall. I caught part of that too and it was gory man,

Holy crap!!!! I still hate driving in weather, because of my wreck last year. I was on the way back from Buffalo, NY and was driving in PA on one of the highway's. It was raining, not that bad, I was still going 5 under the speed limit though as I was in my new car.

My back tire popped and caused my car to hydroplane 3 times, the first two times were light and didn't last very long, the last one took my car off the road and then back across the highway into an embankment that flipped my car twice. All of it happened in like 5 seconds, it was insane.

Bent the frame and tore the car all to hell on the driver side, front fender, hood and roof of the car.

"Odd thing was the passenger side was barely touched, didn't even really have any scratches on it. Both times it flipped it landed on my side."

I still freak out when I'm driving in the rain or snow and that was last February.

Those clips remind me of all of the reasons I had to quit a job I loved because it had 2 hours a day on 40/85 between G'boro and RTP.

Drove it every day for 1.5 years and saw 12-15 people die and those were just the ones where I saw the impact.

    • With Schoen and Dan Morgan being tight I’d figure we knew this was coming and since he is released, Dan didn’t bite.    But, a quick search says this is at least 80% cap related. They have No cap space and save 8 or 9 million with releasing him.  He has been a captain his entire time there. 145 tackles this year.  They are picking 5th with a new staff and looking at Styles. Hitting that age 30 season and had a disc issue last year (meaning 2024) that did not require surgery.  I haven’t really watched him play but he activated the antennae.
    • OK, we are letting our top RB go.  We have Chuba, Etienne, and Brooks.  Imagine a player who could LEGITIMATELY play the slot and back up at RB?  I am sure he'd be a special team player as well.  I noticed him at the combine, and thought, "Here is a late rounder who could stand out as a slot and provide depth at RB. Without further ado....(I know one Huddler who might be able to tell us more about this guy): Navy running back/wide receiver Eli Heidenreich headlined the 2026 NFL Combine for the Midshipmen, running an official 4.44-second 40-yard dash and recording 16 reps on the bench press. Recognized as a versatile, "Swiss army knife" offensive weapon, Heidenreich solidified his draft stock as a potential day three target.    Eli Heidenreich (RB/WR - Navy) 2026 Combine Performance: 6'0" 200 lbs.   40-Yard Dash: 4.44 seconds. 10-Yard Split: 1.55 seconds. Vertical Jump: 35.5 inches. Broad Jump: 10' 0". Bench Press: 16 Reps. Highlights: Showcased as a premier receiving threat from the backfield, having left Navy as the program's all-time leader in receiving yards (1,994). High character.  Smart.  Maybe, just maybe....
    • These refs are horrible.  They definitely got money on this game lol.
