Hawkins Romo

Yes, don't you see the photo?

It's a snapshot taken at the hospital, it's not like they hired a photographer for an official family portrait......this place never ceases to amaze me.

The fact he didn't take any kind hat off for such an important moment is classless. The fact that he is specifically promoting a starter cap in the photo of his first born child is disturbing. You're telling me Romo is required to wear a Starter cap each day? I doubt it. So its jarring to me to see him calculatingly wear this for such a momentous occasion in his life and that of his wife and child, therefore I remain committed to my designation of Tony Romo being a douchebag.

In my day, if you were a man, you took your hat off indoors as a sign of respect. It is however, fine for you ladies to wear your headgear. I even encourage the style of women wearing hats. But that is for another story.

As for wearing a hat for his kids pictures, Who gives a horses turd what he wears for his family, or what you wear for yours.

Too many people believe they are in the unique postiion of being the smartest in the thread. Without the ability to impart wisdom in a constructive way, intelligence is wasted. I see so much waste around here it almost hurts. I guess that is why I keep coming back. The cost is over-shadowed by the entertainment value.

For example. The people that tell us what the Panthers need to do in the draft. I love these folks. They look at the team and see multiple holes. Whereas the truth of the matter is, we have capable starters at every position going into the draft. For the first time in a long time we can draft BPA and actually take BPA. But don't tell anyone. They will not believe you, and may not be very nice while doing so.

Fans come in all types. Thankfully they all meld together nicely around here.

You know, during the excitement of it all he might've forgot to take off his hat.

I don't wear hats but I can see it happening.

As for the name... it just doesn't roll off the tongue and doesn't go together at all.

If you think Captain Munnerlyn is a capable starter then you are badly mistaken. BADLY.

Well, now that you have asked. Hogan is 2nd. Hell, if we even draft a CB, he will be 3rd by default.

Capt and his ilk can fight it out for the bottom of the depth chart.

Gamble, Gilmore, and Hogan. With Gilmore, you have some flexibility, as I believe he could fill in at FS from time to time. Just to get him on the feild.

Ahywho. Gilmore is my pick. Best DT in the 2nd. Then you are free to go LBer crazy the rest of the way. I see at least three, maybe four, LBs being drafted or brought in. If not more. Throw a pick or two at the O-line, and we are good to go.

Now that is how to do it. And GOOOOOO CATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is entirely possible he just likes the hat. Anyway wearing a hat in a picture has nothing to do with class

    • Trade up for a project was dumb, he's gonna be 25 next month. By the time you're deciding on whether he's worth the 5th year option or a big contract you're already gonna be thinking about moving on soon either way.
    • I mean this is legit AF statement....you don't spend that draft capital on a project just like you don't trade up for an injured RB either, which was done in the same draft.  That draft IMO was a necessary evil for DM to learn from his mistakes (I think he did but some may not). Also I have to mention I'm a big Coker fan and think getting him as an UDFA was obv a steal.  Coker is the better WR2 at this point as Legette and its not even debatable unfortunately.  Give him year 3 but don't expect much from him.  Continue in the offseason with adding as much talent and competition on the roster as possible including WR.  Or just trade his ass for peanuts and continue to build roster by any means.......
    • Losing him was a huge loss. Look at how the Bears went from a 5 win team to now a 11 win team. The Lions offensive line is bad this year, secondary is bad and Campbell going for it on 4th down all the time has cost them games instead of taking the Field Goals. Goff is inconsistent as well.
