Chris Cooley?

Cooley may actually be available:

The Washington Post says it appears the Redskins have moved on from free agent TE Chris Cooley.

As of last month, Cooley hadn't heard from the Redskins. They also gave rookie RB Jawan Jamison his No. 47 jersey. Cooley was on the street last season until Fred Davis popped his Achilles' tendon in Week 7. May 14 - 12:04 PM

I'd sign him in a heartbeat.

We're talking about a guy who couldn't make the Redskins roster last year, and only was able to find his way on to the team when their starter blew out his achilles. Even then, he only was able to make one catch the rest of the season, because he couldn't beat out Logan Paulsen and is on the wrong side of 30. I would rather have brought back Barnidge.

Who dragged up this thread? Should've let it enjoy it's death.

But since it's been Frankensteined, I'd rather have Kellen Winslow if we're going to bring in a washed up vet. And believe me, that's not saying a lot about either of them.

Winslow is exploring opportunities in a new sport.

Motocross.
