Didn't want to clog the main forum with another shitty thread so I decided to post this here, since this is where the cool people hang.

I'm getting the new elite jersey in black, and I've finally narrowed it down to these two players. I'm having a tough time deciding which one to choose so I thought I'd start a poll to see what my fellow fans think is the right choice.

I think the #20 looks better than 67. I would go with Gamble.

Which player do you like more??

I'm leaning towards Kalil. He's younger, he's one of our main captains and does a lot of interviews and stuff for us which isn't very common among centers. I love his attitude, the dudes a riot.

The OL number doesn't really bother me.

Chris Gamble is an All-Pro CB & one of the most underrated players in the NFL.

However, not only is Kalil the best center in the NFL, he is a great teammate & leader. He is very friendly with fans & spends a lot of time interacting with the community year round.

And the bonus is you'll be the only guy in the country with a Nike Elite Kalil jersey.

I'd say Kalil is the 2nd best center in the NFL........Nick Mangold being the best.

    • I think Ransom will be a solid player for us.  He played beside Caleb Downs, the cornerstone of the Ohio State defense last year and some have him as a top 5 pick for the 2026 draft.  He was characterized as the smart, instinctive, versatile safety.   I just don't think S will be a liability unless we have injuries.  I am very interested in seeing what they have in the three UDFA safeties; I see one making the roster. As for CB, I think they are higher on Wade-Smith than most of us are. Again, depth is a concern.  We have to hope Jackson has another solid season and Horn does not injure his leg or toe on one of the yard lines.   I am not sure I would compare it to last season's DL because this year's DL will cover a lot of deficiencies, but I know what you mean---our weak link.
    • Lol.  Now you make me defend DG. We had the best IOL in the league under DG and Oher looked solid until he got that bad concussion. DG drafted Moton and Daryl Williams as well. The OL fell apart under Hurney 2.0 and Fitterer. DG also drafted Star and Short. Sorry, but that was all in 5 drafts so let’s not make stuff up about not trying to improve hog mollies. Gettleman did a ton wrong and took the wrong guys, but he and Rivera had a deep and talented team and it got blown up really quickly. Also, I love Cam but he wasn’t the best QB in the league. He had the best year in 2015 but he wasn’t Brady. I think Dan has had a solid offseason, way better than last year but I’m not putting on rose colored glasses until we actually have a 10 win season. Again, Dave and Ron had 3 10+ wins seasons out of 5.
    • Yeah I wont often comment on a coddled generation and participation trophies but this sort of begs for it. Also how did an athlete achieve at that level without getting a thicker skin?
