RG3 Target Of Extortion Scheme via "Reputation Damaging Information"

In January Griffin selected Ben Dogra of CAA Sports as his agent, but the affidavit doesn’t refer to Dogra by name.

The affidavit also doesn’t identify Griffin as the target of the extortion, but authorities confirmed that he was.

The affidavit said Hurd told B.D. “he had derogatory information on a client of B.D., and that he intended to release that information to the media to damage or injure the reputation of B.D.’s client unless the client paid Hurd a substantial sum of money.”

The affidavit doesn’t disclose and authorities aren’t saying what the supposedly damaging information involved.

That sterling character might have some skeletons in the closet. . .?

      People were discussing the new backup QB in comparison the the starter.  Neither has anything close to a cannon.  Video was posted of them throwing.  If people can’t be free to express their opinions without being put on a list of posters who have ruined this place we have a bad situation here. People trying to silence  criticism of the QB.    Maybe actually post about the other players instead of about the other posters. That is where it went off the rails.

      That's true and we're definitely going to hear more about it as summer progresses. But at the end of the day all of the progress we've made on the roster as a whole will only matter if our passing offense can emerge from the basement of the NFL. In 2023 it was 32 out of 32 in 2024 it was 30th out of 32 and last year it was 26th out of 32. And early in the season we relied heavily on a career year from Rico Dowdle who is no longer on the roster. This is only reinforced by the fact that we (depending on how one views it) effectively took playcalling out of Dave Canales hands and brought in another offensive mind. The elephant in the room isn't going anywhere no matter how much we may not like it.
