Everyone should go to the video on Youtube and read the comments. I thought things got a little out of hand here. But dear God!

There are a couple of Panther fans giving us all a bad rep. I can't stand ignorance...

lol they are probably 13 years old and also just fans because of Newton. Don't waste your time!

I kinda think the idea of 3 teams from the NFC North making the playoffs and only 1 team from the NFC South is just wrong. Maybe Wiley is just going with his gut here, but I think Falcons will make the playoffs while Chicago will not. I agree with his pick of the Panthers to be that last team in, but not a division winner.

If anything, 3 teams from the south is more likely than from the north, IMO.

The Lions will not make the playoffs this year. I see them taking a big step back. Bet on that! The Bears, Packers, 49ers, Cowboys(I hate to say it because i hate them), Falcons, and Panthers will be the NFC teams.

Marcellus has always loved Cam from the jump! Any time he gets a chance to talk about him his whole demeanor changes...

Key to this piece was this quote:

Other guy: you have Cam Newton going to the playoffs this year?

Marcellus: no, I have the Carolina Panthers going to the playoffs behind Jon Beason, Luke Keuchly, and an improved defense behind that offensive production that will be there!"

We'll be around for years to come he said... Yes we will Marcellus, yes we will

Good job by Marcellus stopping the host from saying Cam Newton is going to the playoffs. GD. We're the Carolina Panthers, stop calling our team Cam Newton.

Here's a little preview of what the media will say this season:

"Cam Newton is 4-1, do you think Newton can make the playoffs at this point, or even win the SB if he makes the playoffs?"

"The Panthers are 1-4, but can Cam Newton lift them out of their slump? Well the Panthers are terrible, but Cam is a living god."

That sort of BS is on the way.

    • lol, that second part is quite literally one of the dumbest things ever. Having or not having guaranteed contracts has absolutely nothing to do with how much these billionaires have to pay.  Because there is a hard cap and a minimum cap spend requirement, and teams either use their cap or roll it over to use it all the next year, so the owners have to pay the same amount of money in the end no matter what. Having fully guaranteed contracts in the NFL would only hurt salary cap management, and thus would end up screwing over the team and its fan base when teams kiss on signings as they take up cap room that is needed to improve the roster. Look at the Browns with Watson, they gave him the fully guaranteed deal and all it’s doing is sucking up massive cap space now.  If they hadn’t done that, the owner would still be paying the same amount of money each year as that cap space would still be used elsewhere. If you want to argue for fully guaranteed contracts because the players deserve it, that’s an entirely different argument and a fair one to discuss.  But anyone against fully guaranteed deals isn’t doing it to argue for the billionaire owners.

    • Ryabkin could be the steal of the draft, he was a Top 10 pick heading into last season and had a rough year.  Lots of GMs passed on him because of that and his workouts. Pick has really high upside and Svech should be able to translate Rod tearing his arse a new one for making dumb plays since Svech has had several years of it.  🤣😂
