Kasay anybody?

Statistically, from what i remember, he can feasibly become the number one scorer in NFL history in 2 seasons or less if he latches on with a good offense and Jason Hanson retires.

Just have been waiting for an excuse to drop that knowledge bomb.

Medlock is the guy. Let's let him settle in at least before we start thinkin of other kickers please. Yes he missed 56/50 yarders on the worst kicking surface in the league. But those kicks were bombs. He will be ok

As the Lions have only had two kickers since 1980, it is hard for me to imagine not having that guy out there. Throw in Kasay for us, and this is truly a great run of great kickers.

Good decision, or bad decision. Getting rid of Kasay is in the past. As rayzor stated, it seems to be Medlock's job. How long he keeps it it totally up to him. Personally, I hope he keeps it for another 20 years. It will feel like old times.

    • Who were we going to trade up with? The Dolphins wanted Proctor, the Rams were vehement on taking Ty Simpson, the Ravens wanted Ioane, and the Bucs werent trading with us except for maybe a kings ransom. Even if we wanted to move, we had no partner. Moot point.
    • Devin Lloyd is a stud lb but who is next to him? Prince and Nic should improve. Lee was super value but i am not counting this fourth round chicken yet. I would expect some improvement; hope to eat my words w/ a top ten D.
    • I mean I agree about diminished Cam probably still being viable. Even though it gave a preview of how teams would defend the pass against a limited QB. There was an issue with the upcoming contract he was due to get and his expectations vs the new reality of his physical status - that people tend to  overlook when looking back on it  It had an effect on things I believe   But I do have to ask… what about Tepper’s second major move? fuging clueless   I mean I would take even an injured  Cam over Bryce all day long.
