Does anyone know why we drafted this guy so early as a second round pick? I may be wrong but I remember Hurney and Rivera saying that they "discovered" him which leads you to believe that they could have maybe got him in a later round or possible free agent.

A lot of guys wanted to cast Bell aside last year and even during this offseason.

Bell has got better and better, yeah he had a bad game vs the broncos, but people act like the Broncos dont have a feared pass rush..

Amini will get better in time, just like Cam and Luke.

yeah it seems like people like to up their post counts by responding to post with sarcasm a lot.

But as for Amini, I have to believe the coaching knew he would struggle, but being sandwiched between Gross and Kalil, that he would not struggle as much. Losing Wharton, had to be a bigger loss than the staff thought, especially with Kalil going down. Look at the Saints with Nicks leaving, even though they brought in Grubbs, that line didnt look the same for the 1st quarter of the season IMO.
