The ref that was the closest to the play, actually waved incomplete pass. The flag came from a ref near the middle of the field. What I would have liked to see is the ref who waved incomplete, tell the other ref that it was a legal hit and not flag worthy.

That's what the new rules say basically. They have to let the receiver have a chance to catch and run with the ball. Refs got it right according to the pussified rules. The league is going to sh** the longer Goodell is commish.

I have no problem with the intention of the rule, but how they call it is all over the map. There's no consistency and too often the violence of the hit is mistaken for an illegal action.
