Glad the skins won, the cowboys shouldn't be in that position...

I'm still mad about the phantom timeout and BS horse collar call from the Dallas game...

We always get screwed when we play the Cowboys.

If JR is so up the leagues ass he could at least get some of his boys to call shenanigans on this poo.

I just don't understand why teams that stopped our read option bs in the beginning of the season couldn't stop rt3s or russel Wilson..

I haven't watched Seattle enough to make a judgement, but from what I've seen, RG3 is better at running the read option for a simple reason. He not only makes the better read faster, but his time to pull the rock from his RBs belly to launching it downfield makes that play extremely hard to stop. As good as Cam is, he is about half as fast as making the read, decision, and then cock and load the ball to get it out of his hands.

Something that Cam has heavily in his favor is that he has a much larger frame to accommodate a mobile QB career. RG3 won't be able to keep his current style of play for much longer with the types of hits he takes. I think he is good enough to make the turn into a more prototypical QB with the occasional threat to break the pocket.

Cam is built much more like Big Ben with more athleticism. He shores up the accuracy, decision making, and get the OLine shored up and this offense we have the potential to be scary good. The defense has a base personnel that can also perform at a very high level. We will have to shore up the secondary to compliment our front line and ensure that we continue to develop our guys' 3-technique and we have the ingredients to be an instant contender.

You get rid of Rivera, you can kiss that goodbye and simply hit the reset button on the rebuild process.

    • Yeah, I was about to say I hope he's doing okay health-wise because he's not looking good in that pic.
    • Honestly, I dont  think he should be on the hot seat yet. A bad start to next year, then yes. Despite our mistakes on play calling this past season, we played better than anticipated overall. Bryce showed improvement and maturity (although still not nowhere close to our expectations). Better record and 2-15 to 5-12 to 8-9. Despite what we feel the stats dont lie we are improving by 3 wins a year. Could 11-6 be our expectation. That's a high bar but at the rate we are going, thats what its looking like. We all want to see a 5-12 to a 13-4 record but we are methodically moving up. Success doesnt happen overnight (well in most cases).  IMO we are struggling mostly on the defensive end. LB and edge are our biggest weakness. I see Bryce making improvements (even though I was a Bryce hater) next year. Biggest concern is LT on offense. How to fix this? We need a big name edge or to trade up and get a big name edge or LB and pick up one in FA and draft one. Also if in the 3rd we can pick up a TE. Dont know if Sanders is the answer or Tremble (even though I love Trembles blocking and power after the catch). If these two can get their footwork together they would be great. Maybe all they need is a better TE coach. And if Brooks can stay healthy and be the back we thought he could be, man that would be great
