Havent seen it yet, but this thread solidifies my desire to. I know 4 people that went to see it & their recommendation is that I need to...

True Romance is my all time favorite flick, I would go see just about anyhting Tarantino does, or at least have the DVD the 1st day...

Read Jaime Foxx & SLJ had to get on DiCaprio about using the proper vernacular... "Hey, 'M-F', get over there. It's just another Tuesday for us. Let's get going."

Brilliant brilliant film. Tarantino is a true master of filmmaking and storytelling. The movie is damn near three hours long, but still I wanted the story to keep going. There is never a dull moment, and that in itself is impressive in a film with a running time of 2 hour 45 min.

Great performances throughout, but especially Fox and Jackson. Tarantino will have you cringing from the brutality one second, and laughing out loud the next minute. This is not by accident. Tarantino knows how to keep the audience while putting a real light on the horrors of the pre-civil war south. It's one of those rare movies for me that I plan on seeing at least one more time in the theater.

Thought it was pretty dam good, very entertaining. My girl liked it and she's really not into those kinds of movies.

Also thought the soundtrack was spot on. Tarantino's usually are.

Here's a taste.

btw Bruce Dern man, that look. Classic.

    • I get that, but given his college production, his actual skill set, and what he's shown in camp, he really just seems like the only way he doesn't at least play to his floor is if he can't stay healthy or he just gets a huge head and stops putting in the effort, the latter of which I don't see happening. So hopefully he stays healthy (knock on wood), but there's unfortunately no way of predicting health, you can really only predict a player not able to stay healthy if they already had problems doing so in college.
    • In it self no it's not a bad thing. It becomes an issue when they brought back Austin to play on IR most of the season again. That's not a knock on Mays but the situation. It's BC at LG all over. But on the flip side that's how they were forced to go out and sign a good LG the next year.  All of the talk and hope of improvement comes down to guys like Mays taking that step. There is something developmentally going on that Im not impressed with going on with this team. Austin and Dalton were 2 guys they obviously can't lean on at this point and yet both are still here taking up space.
    • Hands on a WR? That's crazy. Next you will tell me the ability to get separation is better than size...
