In fairness, if you don't give Cam and RR 3 yrs....you simply won't know what you could have.

RR is like Cam...growing. You don't want to do the initial work on your watch and let him bloom elsewhere.

Must make postseason next year regardless of injury

One thing to consider is maybe Beane & Rivera will share the responsibilities.

Beane handles the cap, business operations, etc

Rivera handles the football players and football decisions.

Might work.

They gotta get better scouting though or it won't matter.

If there's one thing that gives me hope for the team, it's handing personnel decisions to a coach who couldn't buy his way to .500.

The worst part is that Richardson doesn't see that the entire world sees the delusional greedy old miser he really is.

Sure, Beane may cost us the window of success Cam provides, but he sure as heck isn't going to cost as much as those other candidates!

you need to shut your mouth and/or have some higher standards for the team you root for.

Why don't u shut me up? If you are so unhappy with the team and all the moves made you just need to either stop crying or find another team. No need to let something as meaningless as a football team ruin your life.

    • It's definitely a historical issue at QB but to be perfectly blunt, we also don't do a good job of really developing almost any position if you look at the last decade or so. I tend to be on the side of that being far less a development issue than an evaluation deficiency.  I think we are in the situation at QB2/3 recently due to the overall roster being absolutely abhorrent and the QB classes being quite thin. It is harder to justify another Matt Corral(or several) when you can potentially get a real two deep contributor at other positions.  But, it was a lot of hard work to get to the point where are roster is so incredibly bad that luxury picks literally are not in our vocabulary.  This is the reaping what you sow portion of our history.
    • That is what I meant about our front office. They are like someone filling out a March Madness bracket based on preference of uniform colors and mascots. There's no rhyme of reason to some of these fugg'n mind numbing decisions they make.  They go all in on these flimsy-@ss prospects and are gun shy when it comes to more solid prospects.  It's literally maddening and the reason I stopped being so emotionally involved in this team. Heck the only reason I'm active on the board today is one, it's my day off and two, it's cut down time.
