Domenik Hixon will visit Monday

I think he's like a Jason Avant. A good asset but obviously not going to be your 1 or 2.

Great concentration on the difficult catches. We can use that for those occasional times when Newton gets into a streak of "general vicinity" passes.

Got away with a push or two in there. I think Moose used to call that "veteran advantage"

One amusing note: He did Steve Smith's "spin the ball" celebration at one point, appropriately after a 37 yard catch against the Falcons.

If they're satisfied he can stay healthy, worth a shot.

Would laugh my ass off if they signed Hixon and Barden.

For the record, I disagree with the notion that more receivers signed automatically means no possibility of drafting a receiver in Round One.

well poo a 6 minute highlight video is good enough for me. Outside of smitty our wr's cant get more than a minute highlight video lmao

Someone should make a 6 minute video for Lafell

He was underrated last season. 677 yards with only 14 games played as a #2 receiver isn't bad especially with a TE on your team with over 800 yards.

I can't believe you guys still believe in Gettis. He had a mediocre rookie season on a really bad team. Someone had to get targets and he made a few catches. He then sat out for 2 years with an injury Adrian Peterson only needed 8 months to heal from. I don't think he's the incredible athlete and worker you guys think he is.

If Armanti makes the team I will be happy because it means he earned it. He doesn't have Marty the Guardian Angel anymore. He did make a few plays for us last season, it wasn't 100% bad, more like 75%.

I think Hixon is a nice player with good measurables. The wild card is his health. I feel like Gettleman knows him better than we ever will and he obviously has interest.

Joe Adams is guaranteed nothing. He was worse than Armanti last year, really, he was.

There are tons of variables but regardless of Hixon we could definitely draft a WR in the first two rounds. Personally I feel like both lines are a bigger need.

Are you serious? Cole may not even may the cut. He could be just a camp body

I am not making any assertions about what we will do in the first 2 rounds. But, Ginn and possibly Hixon are NOT top flight WR's....and Di not appear to solve our WR issues.

I am smart enough to admit that I have no idea what the staff will do.

You, on the other hand, have shown over and over that you are ignorant and dumb enough to think that you do.

    • I can say that I have defended Canales because I get that they are doing all they can to keep from looking like idiots for drafting Bryce, from the trade up to signing $150m guards to drafting XL and Brooks etc---nothing seems to work.  And Hiring Canales was part of the Bryce Young rehab program, so so he can't really decide to "move on."  That has to come from Morgan and Tepper. Personally, I think Bryce is due for an injury.  He is small, he is not thick, and he has been a LOT more healthy than most any other QB has who has endured so much pressure.  The thing that bothers me is this---Bryce really does not go through his progressions quickly.  He locks on to his presnap read and stays locked onto him for too long--he seems to fail to anticipate the WR/TE's positioning on the play before the cut--for example, if the WR is running a dig and the CB has his back to the inside of the field, he should be open for a second or less just after the cut.  He seems to wait until the cut has been made before deciding, then checking down quickly while moving in the pocket. OL:  There seems to be a lack of communication--is that on Mays?  Watch this team presnap--they seem a bit confused at times.   I can almost predict the success rate of the play by watching the center and QB before the snap.
    • Anyone else remember back in 2010 when Fox piloted having music under the in-game replays during one of Carolina's games? Not the commercial bumpers but the actual replay clips that the announcers would talk over. Pretty sure it was vs the 49ers. And it was terrible. Point being, Carolina continues being so bad that we get the networks trying things out during their games.
    • Is it bad I found this video more hilarious than pathetic? I am still laughing at that one play where half the people on the field ran into each other and Bryce still couldn't see Chuba wide open... Also laughing at Cade blocking nobody and somehow losing his cleat Man this offense is a poo show
