Martin isn't nearly that bad. We've had plenty of guys that were worse than him. Fua is a good example. Fua has the benefit of playing a position where he's not as exposed and his mistakes are erased by the likes of Luke, TD, Godfrey, etc.

If Martin wiffs that's it.

Should have said starting Safety. Didn't think there could be a worse starting Safety than Martin. After he got beat by Colston right before halftime I think it was 2011, he was dead to me. Then along came Naka. Naka makes Martin look like Ed Reed.

I agree to a point, but Martin is/was still young and was going to make some bad mistakes, Naka doesn't have that excuse because of both experience and supposed intelligence.
