Looks good. Has anyone seen The Place Beyond the Pines yet?

Saw it today. Personally I liked it. I can see how some may not, it is a fairly emotional film and a bit long.

As for this movie, it looks interesting. I'll be checking it out.

Gosling, 32, stars in the Nicolas Winding Refn-directed thriller as Julian, a drug-smuggler in Bangkok who is pressured by his mother (Kristin Scott Thomas) to avenge his brother's death. According to a review by Vulture, the press screening of the very violent film at Cannes ended with boos from the audience.

That's not good!

    • No one way to do it, it does appear that with the bigger draft picks of the last 5 years…..majority haven’t steered clear of young QBs on the roster being their hopeful guy. Especially past their rookie seasons but even some the biggest ones have had it early.   As far as Andy Dalton, the two young guys he has “mentored”…..have had very rough NFL starts.  Which really ask the why the heck is Dalton here.   He doesn’t really check any box.  No young potential.  Can’t step in and win.  And his mentor track record with Fields and now Bryce is bad
    • I had thought the Panthers might let him play out his contract this year and hope he stays healthy. If not draft a left tackle and move Ekwonu to right tackle.
    • Frankly, if most teams in the NFL lose their starting QB for a significant amount of time, they're screwed. The fantasy is that one has a future Tony Romo or a Nick Foles that can carry a stacked team. The reality is that you might get roughly 3~5 games out of your backup before it all falls apart. Remember all of Peyton Manning's backups? Utterly terrible. Speaking of backup QB's, Raiders may need one. https://www.nfl.com/news/raiders-qb-aidan-o-connell-suffered-fractured-wrist-in-preseason-finale-expected-to-be-out-6-8-weeks
