Men Shaving Their Legs?!

I have seen quite a few men in their 20's lately with shaved legs. Is this something new that you guys are doing?

This doesn't really answer the question, but I've heard that men's shaving cream is the best to use when shaving anything since it's formulated for faces and not legs.

Seriously takes me long enough to shave/trim the usual areas. As said above, holy poo it would take forever to shave legs.

My Asian friends have hairless legs. That's natural though, nobody else.

Don't do it, but the main reasons would be: tattoos, you're a cyclist, competitive body builder, on a swim team, maybe a few other sports, maybe some metrosexual and gay guys do it.

Was gonna say, I did it for years as a triathlete. Thing is, for men, didn't have to do it but once a month or so....

Triathletes are not "required" nor does the sport "require" shaved legs. Prior to the swimming portion of a triathlon when the water promises to be not much above 55 degrees, which is quite common for those taking place in lakes, a healthy coating of a Vasoline-like substance on the exposed areas of the body help keep the cold water from penetrating the skin, thereby freezing your nuts off.

An unfortunate circumstance of any form of bicycle racing is a crash. I've been involved in 2 serious crashes, one at over 35 mph, and in both cases, the lack of any hair at the site of the open wounds make them much easier to treat. Road rash on the thighs and calfs are bad enough, having hair get matted up in the blood and tissue is just nasty.
