Solid B+ - A draft. They got depth and ST help in the 4th and 6th, Kugbila can be a starter in a year or two. Klein is going to help on special teams from the start and is good depth at OLB and ILB, also adds versatility to the LB core as he can play all three spots. Barner in the 6th is a scat back/change of pace guy that's surprisingly strong for being small, he's got quick feet and good hands. He's an air back, that can give you an extra dimension to your offense.

Overall: A-

(1) Star Lotulelei : A+

(2) Kawann Short : A-

(4) Edmund Kugbila D

(5) A.J. Klein C+

(6) Kenjon Barner B+

It doesn't take all draftees to boom in order to have a A+ draft. We just need to boom with the high picks. The 2011 draft is disgusting but it's still an A grade draft bc we landed Cam.

Championship teams find talent in late rounds. We didnt do that we passed on talent. He got lucky with star and short

I loved Star, I think Short is gonna be siqq on our d-line even though i wish we'd liked someone else enough to take them (and if you listened to his phone interview on panthers.com he is very excited to be picked by us and was hoping that he would be which is priceless for a draft pick i think), the rest of the picks all make perfect sense but i selfishly don't like them anyway. this draft was truly gettleman making us take our medicine and it blows. that's why i gave this an A-.

i think we all tend to keep the blinders on in regard to our big name vets, but TD could be done any time, Beason could never come back right and if he does he probably will be gone after this year anyway, Dwill will probably be gone after this year too. Gettleman thinks we already have the answers at WR, S, and CB. at the end of the day I'm homer enough to eat that idea up.

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
