A slot receiver

I think a slot WR is overrated with Cam.

I think we need a vertcial threat that can stay on the field as part of our base offense....2 TE sets with someone who can stretch the field. Biggest missing piece right now IMO

Most of the people on the board whats a receiver for cam, look @ the patriots they have 2 te's and both of dem stay injured and they don't have and down field threat and look what they have done, I think a lot of people not giving Brandon lafell any type of respect he had made some crazy catches the last 2 seasons. I think the 1 person that people really want is a david gettis and if he can come back then we are set at da wideout position.

    • There probably isn’t an orthopedic surgery that has had more improvement in technique and outcomes over the last two decades than the acl repair. Because of its importance in pro sports and the sheer number that surgeons do there have been lots of opportunities to practice 1. Better techniques - arthroscopic v open surgery means people heal faster  2. More training - all sports med surgeons have tons of experience doing them 3. better imaging - later generations of mri are more sensitive  4. better therapy - PTs have gotten better at rehabbing them and the theories of rehab have improved a lot. No idea about brooks in particular tho, but I’d describe that overall situation as “not great”
    • If Freeling or either of the Utah OTs dropped to 19 I'd be more than happy honestly. Our OT situation isn't great with an aging Moton at RT and a mess of a situation at LT if Walker goes down at any point in time.  What I'm expecting the Panthers to do is probably draft another weapon like Sadiq or KC Conception. That's been their track record in drafting R1 thus far. None of the defensive talent projected to be around 19 stands out to me. Unless they just want to draft a LB early (Rodriguez,  CJ Allen, Anthony Hill, Jake Gollday).
