Who did you totally whiff on?(humble pie thread)

For me it was Keenan Allen. Pre-draft he was my 2nd choice at 14 only behind Star. That would have been 62 spots too early as he fell all the way to 76.

So who did you guys hype up and totally miss on in terms of where they went?

I thought Rambo would go in the third or fourth, and he damned near was a UDFA. For some reason I still don't believe we would have signed him even then.

EJ Manuel, but I may end up being right about that in due time.

Floyd, figure him to be a top 15 pick, and likely ours unless Star fell to us....thank god.

Aside from the obvious ones where character/off-the-field issues were downplayed by us (Da'Rick Rogers, Rambo, etc)...Quinton Patton was one player I was looking for us to take at 44 but he fell to the very end of the 4th.

I thought Jacksonville would have drafted Geno with either of their first two picks. Or Geno over Manuel. Manuel being the 1st QB off was a surprise.

I wanted Allen, but knew we wouldn't get him at 14. I thought the knee wouldn't drop him so far. I was sure he would be gone by the end of the 2nd.

I thought Rogers would have been drafted as well.
