I'd leave him alone. He got precisely what he wanted from that 'publication'.

 

He got what he wanted. The Panthers fan base needed, and got what we wanted in the form of a response from our side that showed we wouldn't take it lying down, especially from the league's own Web site.

Still just mind boggling how little love Cam gets for being a leader. Here in the Bay Area literally everyone thinks Kaep is the second coming, and that Cam is a big crybaby who only plays with a gatorade towel over his head and that's why he can't win.

Doesn't the author of that panthers.com article know that Cam wear a towel on his head? Doesn't he know that there is this cool thing we do where we put a dollar sign in front of Cam's name and have this super hilarious and highly original play on words? Doesn't he know Cam is a black dude who doesn't act white?

I just don't see how the Panthers can overcome such things this season. Schein and his awesome hair clearly have a better understanding of this roster than this person who is in the locker room, regardless of what fabrications the author of his article made.

I mean for crying out loud the guy has been wasting his whole offseason in one of them there fancy learnin establishments I mean clearly he kid is immature and can't prioritize and towel and stuff.

I mean what is it about the fact that this kid wears a TOWEL ON HIS FREAKIN HEAD that you people dont understand. Towels DO NOT go on your gosh darnet. They're made for rubbing Russel Wilson's tender girly breasts.

I am telling you.....the Panthers will be a surprise team this season and will be right there in the mix for the Division.

 

This team is very close.

 

Kalil back.....DT solidified....WR's better with Hixon/Ginn instead of Murphy...Beason back...young DB's getting more experience.

 

We were a few unlucky plays aways from the playoffs last year.....they bounce our way and we would be considered a team on the rise by everyone.

 

You prove it on the field....it is time for the Panther players to make guys like Schein eat their words

Hatter, you are sounding optimistic, we cannot have this, you must stay to type.

 

See you for the Giants tail gate...will be at the opener but can't get my friend to get up early enough for the Seattle tail gate.  He's a wimp.

      I originally hated the Miller deal but with the cap projected to rise nearly $10M next season the Canes struck some pretty good deals between Miller and Ehlers. Most of the team is locked in for the next few years. Nikishin will need an extension probably in the $6M AAV range. And Blake will need one if we don’t move him. Personally I’d move Blake, picks, and any prospect not named Nikishin/Nadeau/Artamonov for McTavish as I don’t see any any of the big time players moving teams next year. Realistically the Hurricanes should just target Gustavsson next year to fix the goal tending issue. But I’m all for moving Blake, picks, and prospects for McTavish this year. Ehlers - Aho - Jarvis Svechnikov - McTavish - Stankoven Martinook - Staal - Carrier Hall - Kotkaniemi - Robinson Jost - Jankowski Slavin - Miller Nikishin - Chatfield Gostisbehere - Walker Reilly Andersen Kochetkov I’d do Blake, Felix-Unger-Sorum, and 27 2nd for McTavish.

      Very true on the length but stuff like this is never where we shine. We aren’t a good team at drafting.

      Homerism aside, the more I see from Dan, the more impressed I am.  His player evaluation instincts. Last year his 2 premier FA signings, Hunt and Lewis COMPLETELY changed the line and I have a feeling his success in choosing blue chip guys will continue.  Look at the panthers’s rep for FA signings in the past. By and large, it’s been guys 1 year past their prime who had an injury and suckered our GM in to a crippling contract. We never get nice things. When was the last time this team signed 2 young blue chip studs  in the same offseason to contracts worthy of their impact? Ever?  Im telling y’all, players respect and trust Morgan.
