So. To all of you delicate flowers that go into severe colon arrest whenever you eat a fugging burger or biscuit, I must ask. What do you eat? Alfalfa and bean sprouts?

No, no, no.  You misunderstand sir.  The larger the colonic eruption the more accomplished the meal.  If after a meal my ass is doing its best impersonation of the bombing of Berlin, I know that was a good meal.

lol I had to sign up (again) just to put my two cents in on this topic. "long time listener, first time caller" bs and all, but I think I've hit a home run with this one.

 

There is nothing more Carolinian than a LIVERMUSH Sandwich with Dukes Mayo and cheese!

I fuging love livermush. There's this BP gas station between Boone and Blowing rock that has a little diner/grill inside. Any time I was working out that way, I would stop in and get a livermush and cheese biscuit. The lady there would cut you a huge almost 3/4inch thick slice of livermush and drop that bitch in the deepfryer - peice of cheese on bottom and one on top, inside of a homemade biscuit. MMMMMMMMMM

I remember liking liver mush as a kid.  Tried it again a few months ago......what the hell was I thinking.  That poo was nasty.

 

don't know if the cook screwed it up, or my tastes have changed that much.

I'm blown away by the fact that it has over 25,000 "likes." People are passionate about their 'mush. Every time I return to God's Country (Forest City represent!) I have to stock up on that delicious breakfast meat. Give me Neece's Spicy or GTFO.

 

....and of course, Liver Pudding doesn't count! That shat is nasty!

that place is awesome, there is a poboy shop just outside of NO(would have to ask my brother for name of the place) though that gets like that around lunchtime every day, I've eaten at both and the one just outside NO is better, sorry but true.

I don't doubt NO food. I've been there and it's food paradise. Hymans is the stuff of local legend. Been there too many times to count and have never left disappointed. There are places that are better but few that are as we'll known.

    • I think where they would be picked if redrafted before both classes have played enough football to really tell.  Baker literally looked like a washout with us after Cleveland gave up on him, then turned world beater with the Rams, got a prove it deal with the Bucs and has looked awesome ever since. Asking where Ward would’ve went had he went in ‘24 is just stupid.  I’m no GM, but I wouldn’t have taken Williams #1 either.  I would’ve taken Joe Milton way higher than he went.  I think Shadeur should’ve been a first round pick this year.  Point being, opinions are like buttholes, everybody has one.  It’s my opinion that Ward has that “something special.”  I get that feeling that he’ll be an even better pro than he was a collegiate QB because of whatever that quality is.  I think he’s gonna surprise a lot of people, especially being such an under appreciated first overall pick.
    • Where do we get our T-shirts and hats? Pretty sure this is the first championship ever in professional basketball or football in Charlotte!
    • Nice turnaround for Kon.  I’m still a little worried about his ability to create for himself and others, but it was SL.  Come regular season, he will playing a much different role and shots will be there for him.  He showed some reason for hope - and not just him, but the whole squad.  I suppose for the first time ever, we have drafted and acquired enough young talent that we actually not only competed for once, but won the whole thing in summer league.     Kon, Simpson, and Sims made all the difference.  Almost every year prior I felt we always struggled because we usually didn’t have a floor general/real PG to get us into offense.  This was such a breath of fresh air.  And look at us!  We finally are champions!😂
