Strip clubs in Charlotte

It's been a while. Uptown cabaret is/was ritzy and pricey. Paper doll was always solid. The men's club allegedly has a killer buffet. Never ate the food, just something about it didnt sit right with me. Any joint on south blvd will be pretty trashy. Look for c section scars and 50 year olds. Use to hit em pretty hard back in day. Met the love of my life at one.

Uptown Cabaret is not ritzy....the girls are nothing but skanks.

If you want classy, go to The Men's Club.

I wandered into The Paper Doll once with friends. I was pretty sure I needed a few shots after we left. Nasty place.

However, all of the clubs in Charlotte basically suck.

The men's club is good, I've heard uptown is good too. Also, I don't know if bang for your buck is a good thing when it comes to strip clubs. But if you really want some bang for your buck as in no bottoms, BYOB, cheaper prostitution.. head to myrtle and look up derrieres.

I know that the Twin Peaks near the University needs to be avoided at all costs.

But I'm no expert, last time I went out it was for a bachelors party @ 5 years ago and we showed up at the Uptown Cabaret before it opened like we were trying to get into the Early Bird at Dennys, pretty embarrassing. We were done and on the way home right after 9

I don't know why but this post had me laughing hysterically.

When we tried to open the doors and they were locked, followed shortly by a manager telling us to hold on 5 minutes and he'd get us in, I was laughing too.

If you want to go to a good strip club just plan to go to Atlanta. Last time I was at one down there I walked out with a quart of wax melted to my chest. Long story.

Avoid twin peeks and leather and lace at all costs. When I was 21, a friend of mine got free passes to twin peeks, and the first stripper who comes up to me looks older. She asks me how old I am, I tell her 21, she says "no way, you don't look as old as my 18 and 16 year old sons". Check please?

Leather and lace was even worse. We took a friend there for a bachelor party because it was the only place we knew that would let underage people in (and his brother was 18). The first girl we saw on stage was a midget with a beer gut. The rest of them sadly didn't look much better.

True twin peeks story from my friend. he goes in late one night with a friend. Orders a drink, gets about 90% done, really only back wash left. One of the girls comes up and asks if he is done. Before he can answer she grabs the drink and pours it into a styrofoam cup. Then goes to a few more tables pouring disgaurded drinks into her cup. YACK!!!!!!!!

I went to the Mens Club last night. It was solid. Will definitely go back. It is a classier place than uptown, but it has fewer girls. I kinda liked that though because I wasn't approached for a lap dance every 5 minutes. I like a good lapdance as much as the next guy but sometimes I just like to watch the girls on stage.

The women are also friendlier there. Several.sat down and just talked to us for a half hour or so. You dont get that at uptown cabaret.

    • So the last guy who had the job got hired by his former team directly into a role he has no direct experience in?
    • Hard to pass up millions for a couple of days work per week for a coaching gig in the NFL that is 60-80 hours each week during the season and a more relaxed 50 hours a week during the off season. Yeah, I'd love to see him as our DC but hard to see him giving up the cushy job there if he gets it. And he's going to be a great commentator for the network.
    • Really, I think that is where negotiations come in. If you've got a QB getting you to 10 wins but statistically he's not a great performer, then you say look you can take $22 million or you can try it on the market. Because let's face it, out there, any leadership skills that we're seeing aren't going to be on the table, it's just going to be performance and that lands him in the QB2 market, which is much, much less lucrative (although any of us would love that money).  No one is saying that Bryce will be a $50 million QB, barring something short of a miraculous jump. I'm just saying that if we are winning somehow with him at the helm, then it would be fuging stupid to dive back into the rookie pool all over again. Let's say we do hit the 10 win mark, heck, let's call it 11 and a second round in the playoffs. I think we can all say that would be a really uplifting result and one that should be doable if we have good play. What do we do then? Here's what I would offer if I were Morgan and Tepper. $25 million a year for 3 years, each year with up to $10 million in incentives for touchdowns, wins, playoff depth, being under 10 interceptions, completing a full season, passing yardage milestones, taking less than 15 sacks. Look, Bryce isn't a Ferrari, he isn't a Corvette, or a mid-level BMW. He's probably a new Toyota Sienna that will definitely get you somewhere and bring the whole team along with it, no fuss but not a lot of pizazz.  And really, it's about the destination, not about what drove you there.
