NFL Future Power Rankings

I still don't understand how Atlanta gets so much praise.  I truly believe these national "reporters" only look at current records, rather than really dissecting the team's talent.  Atlanta was the worst 13-3 team I have ever seen.  They won several close games when they looked terrible the entire games.  Then again....that's the difference between us and them....they win the close games.

This is list is completely ignorant.  How can we be ranked so  low?

We will have arguably the best MLB in the game for the next 10 years, a top 10 QB for the next decade. The best 4-3 end tandem in the game for the foreseeable future should we resign Hardy. A premier DT in Star, a top 3 center in Kalil.

Stewart by himself is a premier RB. Not to mention Beason, TD, Olsen who will probably still be playing with us.

These guys are just pissed that Dave G made them look stupid on draft day when we didn't take a WR. There is a no way possible that the fuggin Bears and Saints have a better future power ranking than us. Minnesota, Miami? Are you serious?

I'm pretty certain it's based largely on most recent seasons results. You don't have back to back ROY at premium/captain positions, with a top 10 defense in 2012, top 5 in 2011, and not be top 15 for the next 3 years.

It has to be coaching questions, makes no sense to be that low when you have young studs, and showing improvement all over the field. Top 10-15 in 2013? Who knows.

But top 10-15 over the next 3 years? I'd take that bet.

Well for one, Cam Newton is a question mark because he didn't have the best first two seasons of any QB ever statistically.

Oh wait HE DID DO THAT.

This list is about as worthless as Aaron Hernandez's title as tight end.

I bet even if Carolina had won all the close games and finished 13-3/12-4 they would still be ranked last.( in the division)

And the ranking would have the same affect on the season and future as it does now.......absolutely none.

I am a big Cam fan, he is very exciting to watch, but he is defidently going to have to prove that he can win in the next few years as well.  Stats are great but they do not take you to the playoffs.  Do not take this as me saying that I do not think he is the future of the team, that is not where I was going at all, just that he needs to learn to win.

    • Damn back to 10th. I only caught the last 5 minutes but some of those 3's were horrible lol. In that close of game you can't be launching those many hail mary's when you could be chipping away from the foul line. I guess no one wanted to get in the paint and didn't trust the refs to give them the calls maybe? Gonna watch the highlights to get a better idea of the flow of the game
    • I agree.  The Big 12 is a good conference, and he is the swinging dick in that conference.  If Bill Self retires, that sets Kansas back a bit, and Arizona moves even further ahead as the best team in that conference.  Arizona can crush west coast recruiting with USC / UCLA no longer being relevant for LA kids, and Gonzaga not being able to compete moneywise.   If Lloyd comes here, he will be second fiddle to Duke every single year in NIL and recruits.  Not to mention the entire SEC and Big East for kids who want to stay in those regions to play. This is why I keep saying go get Mark Few.  Has proven he can do more with less from an X / O perspective but can also recruit All American players and compete at a high level. He's a god at Gonzaga, but for $9M he'd make the move as that's 4x what he's making at Gonzaga, and makes him the highest paid coach in the country.
    • Certainly not going to miss his constant whiffs on sacks and tackles.
