There are several teams who have alternate helmets, but only for throwback uniforms. The way I understood it when this was previously discussed, is we would have to drop our silver helmets altogether to use black.

I love it... CBS Sports mentioned it.  You know it has to chap ole Damnshek ass that CBS mentioned we won the best uniform when he never did.   It will be interesting to see if NFL.com follows suit now that a rival has picked up on it.

It's rare that you see buzz over a certain uniform like this. I think they should make it our main home look. If the fans want it, why not? I understand not listening to the fans for roster moves, opinions of players, contracts, and all of that actual football oriented stuff. But the uniform seems like exactly the kind of bone to throw the fans who clearly want it.

In that CBS article the author is laughing his ass off that the one game played with the GREATEST UNIFORM OF ALL TIME we got our asses kicked so Dameshek may be laughing after all.
