That game about gave me a heart attack. That throw by Jake shows me why the FO resigned this guy. When he gets it going hes hard to stop.
Seriously, this team just loves to give us chest pains with these close games (see 2008 regular season Chicago, Green Bay, Detroit, New Orleans, Arizona games). At this rate, before each game, we'll see a warning from the surgeon general about the risk of heart disease by simply watching our game.

Your right, its pretty bad when you have to make sure you have a defibrillator handy before you watch a football game.

I only got to see a few minutes of that game as I got home from work that evening, thanks to Fox for switching to it for the last minute of the game and me getting home a few minutes early.

Right before the snap, I told my son, "Well, boy, this is how the Cats usually get it done, watch 'em do it again."

It took me a second to realize that Rosario actually caught the ball, I had to see the ref's arms in the air before I believed the announcers yelling "touchdown". Me and the boy were yelling too after that ... enough to piss off my wife for scaring her with all the noise.

It was well worth being in the doghouse for the rest of the evening.

God I love seeing stuff about that game.

I was there. Greatest weekend of my life. Got my picture taken with Mark Richardson in the parking lot after the game. Couldn't talk worth crap for a week from all the screaming we did that day.

Still have the NFL Replay on my DVR. I watch the last drive whenever I need a 'pick me up'.

    • Can revisit when/if Charlotte gets an MLB team. It has been discussed lately and I think Charlotte and Nashville are supposedly high on the list.
    • Nfl leaders don't look at the population of just the city itself.  Charlotte has three of the top fifty combined statistical areas within a 1 to 1.5 hour drive.  Charlotte, Greensboro/WS/High Point, and Greenville Spartanburg.  Those three statistical areas include nearly 7 million people.  Other than Raleigh, the only one in the top fifty within an hour and half of raleigh is Greensboro.  So only about 4-5 million people.  Charlotte has many more people to draw from.   Also, many of the surrounding communities for Raleigh are not native born.  If memory serves, many still refer to Cary as Containment area for relocated Yankees.  One of the reasons the Canes do so well is a significant portion of the population are people who moved from Northern Areas.  Would that population translate into support for a NFL team?  Hard to say, but I see a tremendous amount of Giants/Jets jerseys in the triangle when I forced to endure the crazy traffic on 40/85.
