I wanted to win that game so bad. I remember Norv being smug leading up to the game, all but knowing they would win and saying "Our 53 are better than their 53."

Rosario hangs on as time expires...

i was just going to mention that. i was fuming when they showed that clip before the game. it made winning sooo much sweeter.

And all anyone will ever talk about on this board is the Arizona game.

because that was our last moment of relevance and it went down in horrible fashion. it's essentially the last taste in our mouths and it still lingers.

 

until we have at least a winning season to hang our hats on or another playoff win, that will be the watershed moment for the panthers. that will be the game that defined us until we redefine ourselves. so far, we're still a losing team and theres only one way to change that.

man i have so many good memories of the 2008 season. we were actually good so i was able to get a contingent of panthers fans together weekly to watch games... after that attrition during our years of mediocrity has bled the group down to where halfway through the season i'm the only one in front of the tv.

 

it'll feel good to be spending sundays with a crowd in december again.

      If it’s all the same to you guys, I’d like to use this thread for Tuesday nights game as well to keep this hate going. I have a feeling Tuesday vs the panthers is going to be violent in that arena.    @LinvilleGorgecan you please add “and Tuesday” to the game thread?  They play the Panthers again Tuesday.       Nobody on the huddle is saying we have an elite group offensively across the board. They aren't great. They're young. If you are expecting someone to agree with your position of blaming everyone around Bryce Young nearly three full seasons into his career you are going to be left holding the bag save for a handful of people who act like they are paid to defend his honor. Bryce Young is not a guy who has had to claw and fight his way into starting jobs in football. He's had the best to work with and been gifted roles since he was a teenager. The Panthers have one of the youngest rosters in the league and with us needing an infusion of young defensive talent in the upcoming draft we're only going to get younger. We need a QB who possesses the ability to elevate those around him. If you can't agree with me on that then there's nothing further to discuss.

      All Bryce and the Panthers had to do was split with the Saints and a rookie QB. The bar was so low. They even had a whole bye week to prepare. The time for singing kumbaya was before that game. Anyone still talking about Bryce earning a second contract 43 games into his career is living a fantasy. He might get one from the Tepper owned Panthers but he's damn sure not earned it.
