Bleacher report breaks down Panthers versus Seahawks

Basically they have three guys making predictions and one has the Panthers winning. One of these guys is an idiot disrespecting our defense and the other stating Sherman will shut down Smith leaving Cam no alternative but to run for his life.

Sherman may contain Smitty if no one else steps up as a legitimate receiving threat.  Also, if the pocket is constantly collapsing around Cam and he is running for his life, that will make Sherman's job that much easier.

If the line can pass protect, 89 will get open and teach 25 the rules and regulations of the game.

If you want to make a video production going over the weeks football games, PM me and I will send a t-shirt. Must have video editing software and a video recording device. We will then have a cyber meet and greet with all the fans Saturday before the game. No football experience necessary, if this is your first season watching American football, fine. We will put it on bleacher report if it turns out that bad.

Yeah I saw that bleacher report. Guy #2 only knows the Panthers based on what he read on the Internet. If the Seahawks win this game it will be because their line is able to stifle our pass rush, or Russell is able to break free and run for first downs all day.

I don't see beast mode being the reason. Star, Luke, Colin and Thomas will tame the beast.

Been about 50/50 people picking the Panthers to win vs the Seahawks,  from what I've seen.  Considering Ron Rivera is still the coach, I'm expecting a defensive battle with a close loss.  I see the game being similar to last year's game against the Seahawks, and similar to Week 1 last year against the Bucs.

Rivera + Cam and company will have to prove they can win the close games, or it's going to be a long year.  This one will be the first test because it'll definitely be close.

    • This is one of my key concerns lost in the sauce that is the neverending conversation about him evading pressure and the OL. Eventually any QB is going to have to step up into the pocket and show the defense they can still beat them even if they get through. We have a limited QB who cannot consistently do this and as such we are relegated to going back and forth about how successful he was at evading pressure but we have little else to write home about. Tyler Shough stepped up into the pocket and made plays despite being pressured and sacked. He's played in about 35 less games than Bryce Young. That is a problem. And isn't just going to go away. The Bucs are going to do the same thing after watching the film.
    • Oh, absolutely! That doesn't absolve the absolute dogshit hockey that the team played in front of him, though. Only Cane that played well tonight was Bradly Nadeau.
    • Thanks for illustrating my point.  No one in the last several pages of this discussion is suggesting we should hang on to him, but anytime someone says anything less than "take him out back and shoot him" you act like they are. That's either you not understanding what you're reading or just being a nimrod because you can't keep up. (I would have said 'or just sh-tposting' but you're way too emotional on this topic for that) Either way, the result is the same 😆
