This is a no Bs er but I can remember when you could get a big bucket of wings any damn place you wanted in Western New York for $ 5.99 and every place that sold them all kicked ass. Never had any thing that compares with NY wings  south of the Mason and Dixon Line.  Were talking the late 80 s and early 90 s and you could abuy a case of  either Labatts Blue or Molson for  $ 9.99 plus bottle deposit.  Piels pounder 16 ounces were about $ 9.25 a case plus bottle deposit! The friggin good old days with Jim Kelly at the helm of the Bills!

Oh hai thar

So let me drop some wing knowledge on everyone.

A) In Charlotte Wing King is the best. You can still smell the stale scent of cigarettes and carowinds hookers its delish. The fries are also great. Township Bar and Grille used to be the best option on the other side of town. I went by there 10 months ago, talking up the place, with my wife only to realize it was closed. I was so distraught and in need of some serious comfort....I just had a baby 3 weeks ago you figure it out. Moosehead has good wings if you ignore the cleanliness of the restroom...I'd rather eat of a sarin Syrian baby. Picassos is good but a coke bar so you hope the cook isnt impatient and undercooks them. Whiskey Warehouse has decent wings but they serve it with a side of hepatitis. Beef o bradys had good wings in Brandon Fl where it is originally from...you'll see me at the on in Baxter because they can accommodate the 30 people in my family but they are not the best.

My vote Wing King (DD Peckers is it's sista from another mista)

B) There is  no such thing as boneless wings. You fuging trilobite. They are chicken tenders thrown around in buffalo sauce. I wish I had a time machine so I could either go back in time and abort everyone who has ever ordered a boneless wing or travel back in time and eat an archeopteryx. I haven't decided what would be better. Either way I would be happy in 2013. fug

C) Wings are served with blue cheese and celery. WTF is peoples obsession with ranch. fug you and fug your mom and your grandmom...I will finger bang all of you with my wing fingers drenched in buffalo sauce and blue cheese. Ranch is satans semen that he saves for people without any fugging clue about what to eat. You drench everything in ranch. pizza, chips, salads, fries, I can fuging wish death upon you but when you put it on wings I actually act out and murder. I am the Aaron Henandez of wings and ranch sauce. I hope everyone one of you ranch loving idiots gets raped by a narwhal.... and carrots you can gtfo.

D)They are buffalo wings not mai thai bahama mama srichcha honey baked pepper wings. fug you fancy flavors. Go get aids.

E) I am from upstate NY so I know more than any of you (and pry eaten more wings) so my word is gold and my heart is enlarged.

First, what dude hasn't banged a chick from upstate NY? It's like fishing with dynamite.

I've pounded more beers and eaten more boneless wings in that Baxter Beef O'Brady's than you can shake a man *** at.

I ate 76 hot wings in one setting back in college when Annabel's had $.10 wing night. Witnesses galore. I would eat 50 just to get warmed up. I have crammed more cartilage and chicken skin down my throat than a Meredith College student getting over an eating disorder.

I have two fuging kids now so I can't enjoy restaurants like I used to so I eat my wings boneless, with a knife and fork. I apologize to no man.

    • Same. I would prefer a MNF game earlier in the season. As if more likely has some significance in case things go south this season. If we perform well enough we could even get another game forced to a Sunday night spot later in the season.
    • Wanted to jump into this thread. Although I do not post anymore I do look in as there are a few old friends around. Loved hearing some of the names you mentioned.  Another  oldie is NanceUSMC.  He is the one who got me here from the old Observer forum.  Good guy and smart football guy. I have learned a lot from a lot of good Huddlers over the years, Over time. we have sadly lost a few who left this earth too soon.  Anyone who know of someone, it would be nice to try to make a list.  One of the more recent, CosmoGirl,  was someone that kind of hit hard.  Life sucks sometimes. Some of the best times were when we had our own tailgate and could meet up in person.  I think it made us better. Several dedicated volunteers, lead by LiverMush, started setting things up in the wee hours of each gameday morning.  Don't know all those regulars but I remember JakeFlake was one.  For you newbies...each game,  a Huddler (or a group) sponsored the food for each tailgate.  Eating was free but a donation was asked for.  At the end of the year those donations were used to buy bicycles for Toys for Tots.  Over the years Huddlers bought a lot of new bikes for kids for Christmas.  (I am guessing a couple of hundred each year.)  We had a good time getting together, got to make friends in person, and then got to feel like you were doing something good. It was truly a community. I got to meet Dan Morgan at one of our tailgates...he brought pizza from his restaurant.  How many of you remember that?  Glad the restaurant did not make it....lol. Not only have people changed, and come and gone.....but the entire nature and purpose has changed. Nothing lasts forever and we move on but we still like to think about good times. Same reason we take pictures. Want to ask a question I have not seen anyone else mention......who remembers    "The Couch" ?  We have argued, laughed, lived the ups and downs of football and dealt with a little real life along the way.  A thanks to  the Mods who keep this going.  I am sure they sacrifice a lot of their time out of love for the forum and the Panthers. Take care my friends and be well.  I will close with my new favorite quote which I think is greatly needed in these difficult times.
    • My top-5 JAGS: 1. Tommy Tremble: May not ever be top-tier, but has been solid and you never doubt the effort. 2. Cade Mays: Not bad for a 6th rounder. Hated to see him go. 3. Brady Christensen: One of the most versatile backup OLs in the NFL. Hopefully we re-sign him. 4. Trevis Gipson: Quietly was really solid depth last season. Glad we brought him back. 5. Brycen Tremayne: Has been solid depth at WR, flashing at times last year.
