I wouldn't say that Godfrey played a hell of a game, but he did play a lot better for the most part than fans have given him credit for.  He might not be great, but on his worst day, he's still infinitely better than what we got out of Nakamura last season.

i trust roughly three posters on this board regarding godfrey analysis. 99.9bar% of you base your opinions of godfrey on "game tape" where he pops into the camera at the end of a play and fill in the blanks from there as it suits your narratives

I generally disagree with everything Chuck says including his comment about Godfrey. But I did get a chuckle out of his response.

Speaking of #52, I know he's been on the injury report this week.  What was wrong with him? 

 

EDIT: nvm, found the injury report and he's probable, says it was a knee.  He participated fully today.

I don't know if somebody already said this cause I only read the first page, but I think he's actually talking about Charles Johnson.  While he was talking the video showed CJ getting nasty.

 

He must have just gotten the names confused.  I can give him a pass this time just because he's good and he does this for every game every week.

 

I like the Xs and Os stuff.  Also, this guy picks the Panthers a lot.  He thinks we are pretty good, so its refreshing because so many media outlets brush us aside.

 

One thing he doesn't seem to consider in this video is the quality of coaching.  If RR makes any boneheaded moves, it may threaten to overshadow our excellent defense.  I still don't know how I feel about Shula, but he's not exactly impressing me.
