I don't think the Panthers can resign Nakamura until Week 9 since they IR'ed him and then gave him an injury settlement.  He is a FA, but I don't think he could sign with the Panthers until Week 9 per the rules.  He could sign with anyone else anytime I think.

 

Say what you will, but I would feel better about having him back there than what we might have to resort to.
