This week we have DGs old team here with Eli. I don't think DG likes the style of QB that Cams ability plays to.Fact is he has not helped the offense at all and he expects Cam to win games without much help. Do you think Cam will be here or will they try to find a pocket passer like DG may want.Opinions?

I know this is a fantasy but I would be willing to trade Cam to Cleveland for a 1st and two 2nd rounders. Knowing its Cleveland and looking like we will have a bad record, that would mean we would likely have 4 total picks likely top 10 in both the 1st and 2nd round. Talor Lewan and Sammy Watkins in the 1st round, QB and CB in the 2nd round.

Or better yet trade Cam to Jacksonville. Its a win win, Jax needs a QB and Cam gets to go to the sunshine state and not miserable Cleveland. It would be a easy sell to Cam " Hey Cam, you have been traded to Jacksonville. Empty stands on Sundays and a franchise mired in mediocrity, think of them as the Panthers but with beaches and year round good weather."

This whole conversation is the SCREW UP and for me why I am pissed at Richardson, the owner.  This whole transition, rebuild has been done half ass.  The right thing to do would have been to fire Hurney with John Fox and bring everyone in at the same time.

Instead, its Fox gets fired and Hurney stays.  Then we have a new coach and the same GM.  Then its bring in a new GM the following season and keep the old HC the previous guy hired.  Now its another lost season until this new GM fires the old HC that wasnt his...... AND to top it all off we have a potential franchise QB floating around in the wind who now we talk about if he will stay when this new GM who didnt draft him, brings in his coach who will want his own guy.

Its all ass backwards.  Jerry needed to and should have fired Hurney and Fox at the same time. Brought in his new GM, and Coach together and they would have drafted Cam.  Instead the last three seasons has been a complete waste.

    • How about just don't draft project players in the first round? How about especially when you have arguably the worst roster in the NFL(we did all those years in question)? You don't even have to dig into those player debates specifically. Just don't grasp at straws early in the draft.
    • I think there were 9, and since I haven't took time to watch each of them on each play individually Its impossible for me to say, which I doubt you have either.   It's not a stat driven grading system; it's a per play grading system.  Tommy Tremble making a great block to spring Rico for that 10-yard run might actually score higher on that play then Ricos run. The actual run might not be anything special; it might be a run that pretty much every back in the league would have made. Here again, I would guess, if you look at every RB in the league, he is towards the top in rushing grade for the year which is what most of us are seeing.  Whether you call that a 90/80/70, 50/40/30, A/B/C, Gold/Green/Red star, it doesn't really matter it's how he ranks relative to everybody else at his position.
    • Well I will never knock a strong arm, in a vacuum, but it is a lot more than that to it.  Did we kill our roster building and our defense in particular to stick PJ out there?  No. We knew we sucked and he was really just a temporary thing too.  While with Bryce I see the up and down, mostly down, roller coaster on loop now in year three. It has been a Looooong time.    Back to strong arms, it is like having a powerful motor in a car. All the power in the world isn’t going to overcome a bad driver.   But at the same time, even a decent drive with a killer car will beat the best driver if you put him in a go kart   Exaggerating for effect, I know Bryce is not a go kart. Maybe closer to a 6 cylinder with not much displacement…..
