How will the Panthers lose the game this week?

Week one, DeAngelo had the untimely fumble giving Seattle the ball. Week 2 Kuechly was penalized, it looks like a flaky call to me, for PI giving Buffalo life and we saw what happened.. Week three?

Here's a list of way we will lose this game. Yes, I do not believe we will win at all. This team is just undisciplined and it starts at the top.

Scenario 1:

By some miracle we are up by 7 in the 4th. Blown coverage by Lester, wide open Cruz salsas his way into the end zone (literally taunts this way before he scores) and they convert the 2 point conversion via Ruben Randle jump ball and Captain not getting the 10' ladder set up fast enough to stop him.

Scenario 2:

We are down by 2, and somehow Cam becomes completely clutch, we drive down the field to the Giants 30 yard line where all we need is a field goal to win, The clock is marking 0:03 left and all that is needed to be done is make the FG. Gano is up. The snap is made, but oh no! To our surprise the Snap is high! It sails past Gano. Gano scrambles for the ball and tries to throw it! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA! AAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHA!  GAME OVAH MAAAAAN!

Post game presser is crap. Rivera blames players. He keeps his job. Cam tries to be PC but we all know he is getting frustrated. The season is over, the huddle explodes.

So, what's your scenario?

We are absolutely NOT going to put any blame on Kuechly for last weeks loss. Get out of here with that. The defense shouldn't of even been on the field.

Pick your poison champ. There was plenty blame to be placed. Either way, it was the defense that went limp at the end. Blame Norman if you want, the refs for a tacky foul, miscoverage, I don't care. The PI being called brought the bills that much closer to scoring. Take that way, I doubt they win. So, again. Take your pick.

Oh and thanks for participating.

If idiots here want to run our franchise QB out of town, then yes Luke gets his blame for the PI.

Here we go again. I'll keep it short. We love cam. Want him to do better. He's not doing so swell. He's not being run out of town. We want better play. And Luke did have a hand in the loss. But I wouldn't blame him.

If you felt that was directed at you. Okay then. Luke is apart of the team just like every other player, including Newton. They all share the blame for the loss. Even more so our idiotic head coach for his decision making at the end.

As for the topic at hand.

I predict more idiotic decisions will be made by Rivera. Will they be bad enough for us to lose? We will see.

Yeah I agree. I know we always argue over cam. But trust me I've always wanted him to suceed. As far as blame. Hell we could take all blame away from any of the players and directly on the coaching staff. That's where the real problem is

    • Ideally Bryce and the other starters should get at least a full quarter and an argument could be made for 2 full quarters given how they've played early in the season the last few years.
    • A rookie that has never played a snap and a proven 1000K NFL WR are not going to be viewed the same in these type rankings.  And calling draft picks, lotto picks, isn't some new quip I just invented.  take the big 3 Hubbard, AT, insert whatever 3rd Panther you want vs Kamara, Hill, Olave.  Most football folks outside of Carolina are picking the Saints there IMO.
    • You didn’t really address the point, just like you ignored the point about the RBs initially, and saying “they are all lotto picks” is just a really silly reduction because you could say that about literally any player rookie or vet every snap, every game, every year. It is well known that different positions have different hit rates, and I would argue different types of prospects within position groups as well, and that hit rates change the further down in the draft you go. Everybody knows QB is different and that, for example, first round OL have a really high success rate. Using your lotto ticket analogy…again…you are saying a lotto ticket with a 1 in 100 chance of hitting is the exact same thing as a lotto ticket with a 1 in 2 chance of hitting (this is an example, don’t take these odds literally). The point was he is no more of a lotto ticket than the 31yr old receiver coming off a major knee injury, and in my opinion he is better odds with a higher potential “jackpot”. Saying one player is an “lotto ticket” while another isn’t is just not sound logic. You have no idea who will break out, regress, get injured, etc. There are safer bets than others, that’s all. I don’t think Diggs is a safe bet and even if he was, weighing him over all of the Panthers WRs plus 2 1k rushers is just dumb. You can disagree if you want. The list is stupid.
