Could Easily...or should...Be 3-0 going into the bye week

Tomorrows talk radio narrative will be about how the Panthers could and should be 3-0 going into the bye week. No more "Fire Rivera....Cam is garbage" talk.  It will be about how easily the Panthers could and probably should be 3-0 and the talk of the NFL going into the bye week.

fuging rivera for not going for it on 4th and 1 against the bills. I'm still fugging pissed off at that. We should legit be at least 2-1 right now.

Or if Kuechly doesn't do the PI...

or if Dwill doesn't fumble at end of Seattle game

Lots of If's of course, but now we look at it from the Glass is Half Full POV

Don't hear either of the Fox Analysts blaming Cam for the team two loses. They are saying whatever one esle but you Panther fans are saying. Lafell hadn't drop the ball. You would have beaten Seattle. The coaches had made better decision instead of simple accepting a fieldgoal, you could have easily won the Bills game.

Maybe it's time for the Panther Nation to wake up and stop using Cam as your scape-goat. It's doesn't help your team or is it the truth.

The talk will probably be about Rivera being 0-2 after a bye.

nah those involving the players are happen chance mistakes. You have big ass cam newton only 1 yard to go. I think in the history of cam and 4th and 1's we convert a ridiculous percentage. That was a coaching decision and rivera was scared to go for the 1st down. It was a clear mistake on his part.

    • Smitty is a legendary footballer player but this has really damaged his reputation as a person. You don’t cheat on a woman who has been with you through everything and gave you children and especially not with another man’s wife. He doesn’t even have any remorse about it, acting like nothing happened.
    • That's a big ass center! Is there any center in the NFL that weighs 320 lbs? Also, we drafted a center last season. Not sure this guy is a center even if he took reps at the senior bowl. Looks like a guard to me unless his build is better suited to a lesser weight. In a zone scheme centers need to be able to move quickly.
    • The majority of NFL draft picks don't play all too many snaps lined up directly across from another NFL player, and I don't think many people really realize this. Unless you play a game against one of the 2-4 schools that are putting half their lineup into the NFL each season, most teams who have multiple draft picks, MIGHT only have 2-4 draft picks in any given season. Some skill positions get around 30 players drafted each year, other positions are in the teens to low 20's.  With at least a handful of them coming from non power conference schools too.  So the odds for any WR or CB to get too many games lined up directly against another future draft pick is pretty low. The better odds are that they get lined up against a future NFL player, i.e. a junior or senior WR getting lined up against a freshman or sophomore DB who will get drafted in a couple of years. Then if you take it one step further and look for players who actually play in the NFL and make a difference.   You're basically looking at players drafted in the first 3 rounds of the draft, so a little less than 100 players a year, spread out across all the positions and conferences (which in today's massive conferences, teams have even lower odds of player the teams with more NFL players than ever before).
