ESPN article inspires hopes for the playoffs

Three things caught my eye:

 

1. Oddsmakers improved the Panthers' chance to win the Super Bowl from 100:1 to 66:1 after the giants game.

2. There are only 5 NFC teams with a better record than the Panthers--The Seahawks, Bears, Saints (3-0), and the Cowboys and Lions (2-1).

3. The next five opponents are all beatable.

Love the quote. Of course Cam gets it, he has won national championships, and was perfect on 4th down conversions in the 24 point comeback at Alabama.

I'm not even thinking about playoffs right now at 1-2.  Just taking it all one game at a time.

 

If we're the team I know we can be then we should get into the playoffs no question.  But that's the problem... how often will that team show up this year?

Yeah, the players reportedly love Rivera and all. But how much can the offense believe in/support him, if/when he keeps kowtowing to the defense--at the expense of the offense--while they keep inexplicably blowing games??

Thank the Panther coach for that. As the Panther should be 2-1 right now. 

 

Obviously, the fumble vs Seattle was on D'Angelo (3-0 anyone)? However, that was a mistake in execution. Rivera's decision/non decisions in Buffalo, were bad/doomed from the start.
