On paper we should beat the Cardinals.. But the intangibles is what scares me.

Cam has hit his ceiling.  I never understood the term "this player has such a high ceiling." In today's NFL, how you perform in your first year is a pretty good indication how you perform throughout your career.  Cam still plays the same way he has as a rookie. He is still very erratic and inconsistent.  Hes never going to be that elite QB you can expect to go out and take over a game and win on his accuracy and football acumen like a Tom Brady or Peyton Manning.

Cam will be a Jay Cutler and maybe a Ben Roethlisberger. Very good, but never a great.

Seriously though......stop posting.

Let's be honest, Cards have a better secondary, receivers, special teams, coaching, and not better but solid LBs. We have better DL, RB, and QB (depending on which Cam shows up).

This game will be close and I'm not quite sure why we are so much better on paper according to this site.

I agree. I think we win but it will be ugly. Giants game suddenly has causes people to think we are probably better than we are.

This is the team that lost to EJ and Buffalo as well. Is Buffalo better than AZ on paper?

Special teams? Please prove that to me with the stats and no I'm not speaking of just returns for td. Think kicking and punting.

Coaching? What's their record again and how long has their coach been a HC? Again.. show me some numbers. Don't be a homer though please.

Lbs????

And Qb?!?! Really?

I'll give you secondary but uhm these people that are crowning PP as top 3 db and the honey badger as well as tops in the league are on something. PP as in the guy everyone called him out on his suspect as fug coverage skills that was being abused like a red headed step child all of last year and people were starting to claim that the only thing he was good for is returns? The fug. 4 games into the season he's one of the best in the league now? Really? Im not sold on that one either. The man is a beast return man but yes he can and will get abused in the secondary.

Cant wait till Sunday though because I think this is going to be one heck of a game

Exactly. The Giants win deserves a asterisk. Cardinals are a much better team than the Bills and they recently beat the Lions. I just dont see us winning this one. The more I look at our schedule the less pessimistic I am. Jets are looking better than thought, that could be a loss. I think we get swept by the Saints, we sweep the Bucs, split with Falcons. Lose to the Fins, 9ers,Pats and beat the Rams and finish 5-11.

4-2 in the division

Apparently basic reading comprehension is not a strength of yours. Go reread my post.

A lot if it is execution. Our defensive gameplan against NY was pretty boring and safe. Front just one there one on ones in a landslide.

RR IMO does a good enough job of putting our players in position for them to go out and win about every game. Hopefully they show up in AZ

This team is so good talent wise on defense all the have to do is put them into position. Offense is a different story but our Defense will hold most teams to 17.

lol....Cam can't even see his ceiling. He is 2 years and 3 games into his career. With limited college coming in.

No, he will never be Brady or Manning. It is also silly to think they represent the best Cam could be. If Cam reaches close to his ceiling he will be going up yet in a different direction than those QBs. Totally games.

That is the problem with the crowd critical of Newton.....too focused on being like Brady is the way to be great

I wouldn't put any limitations on Cam right now. I saw him make passes against NYG that he usually misses. I think the trash cans actually helped - good on Dorsey for noticing that.

Something as simple as a week of throwing the ball in a trash can helped lead to at least one TD pass to Lafell that he normally overthrows. I'm also willing to bet Dorsey had something to do with the throws to Smitty and Lafell (2nd TD) when the defender had his back turned. I think we forget just how raw Cam is, and don't realize how quickly he's applied what he's learned in practice, to real game situations.
