I'm happy for Ginn and hes a nice piece for us. But don't get yourself to the point where you expect pro bowls from him. He's like a three point shooter that can't play defense. He has a niche in our offense but he isn't the focal point.

I think that is a fair assessment. The fact that he is getting playing time again is a step in the right direction and an improvement over last season for him.

If he can just produce a few catches a game and a long bomb here or there, it will help the whole offense tremendously.

i think that's all pretty much anyone expects or really hopes for and i think he's developed enough of a chemistry with cam to pull that off.

He is the Dell Curry of the Carolina Panthers

just think what we could be like with shockey back and playing with smitty, olsen, ginn, and lafell.

i'm not sure how you stop something like that...esp. when you have a big QB like cam who is always a threat to run.

Shockey and Ricky Proehl probably have little to nothing in common personality wise, but as players both had a knack for finding open spots in the defense and scoring.

Guys like that may not be superstars with ridiculous stats, but they sure do help you win games.

Steph Curry is a three point shooter than can't play defense.

    • I'm not sure that in a fair QB competition that Young would beat out Jones.
    • That's why I said stats aside. I lived in CO during Allen's college career and didn't have kids at the time so I watched most of his games. Bruh, I'm telling you. Balls just spraying all over the place. The type of throws where you're honestly trying to figure out who he was even trying to throw that one too. It was crazy. Richardson was inaccurate in college but at least you could tell who he was trying to throw it too. He threw a lot of early in the game Cam Newton type balls where it seemed like he was just a little too amped up and everything was a few feet high. Richardson's misses looked like they were maybe fixable with working on his footwork, release, etc. Josh Allen's misses looked like "ain't no way you're fixin' that poo, dude has a cannon equipped with no sights". LOL Huge props to the Bills for evaluating him as fixable and indeed fixing him.
    • A lot can change over the next week, but here is my best 53-man roster (note: I'm just basing this on guys on the 90 man roster currently).
