He is ready to go into the Pros, he will only get bigger stronger faster. the media already made him big, well deserving but he is young with a lot of talent and fame. I think he will be a monster in the NFL. Clowney is someone who would be solid on MOST plays rather than Watkins who is a bust or big play. Clowney has had the better coaching as well with technique. Signing hardy to a long ass millions of dollars with slow us down. he isnt totally proven, or trade him for another high pick, get clowney and then a wr or highly touted OL. should spend money in FA for a expereienced CB

Please note my name and know that it pains me to say this.  Clowney is a chump and has been lazy as fug.  As some have already said this dude will be the next peppers who takes plays off and never works hard at anything.  As bad as it hurts me to see Clemson players succeed (such a deep hatred for Orange and Purple) i would love to see us draft Sammy Watkins as he would have an immediate impact on our team.  If this team blows a pick on clowney i am going to lay down in traffic.

 

 

Clowney is having a decent year for DE but not good compared to the hype.   I think he'll grow from this year, and will still make a great pro. He's had nagging injuries, and teams have been able to afford to double him all game without the risk of Chaz Sutton stepping his game up.  

 

DE is not a need this year, but we're going to need to replace Hardy if he bounces, and on the cheap if we want Nicks.

as much as I love defensive lineman for high draft picks, this one has me running for the hills.

Ideally, I'd prefer our top two picks to be WR and OT. I don't care in which order. We'll have to see how the draft and free agency shake out.

Hell no.  Even if we got the #1 overall and couldn't trade down, give me the top LT (great class) or WR (looking to be a good class).  Right now our defense is #3 overall in yards AND points allowed.  We need offensive help and we need it bad.  If we could spend our 1st round pick on an OC, I would.
