He was magnificent untill the Cardinals adjusted, and RR/Shula were sleeping on the sideline.

Point to differ....Shula would be sleeping upstairs.

Yeah it's no big deal when your receivers are dropping touchdown passes and fourth down passes that hit them right in the chest.

That is not correct either...the passes hit them in the hands...exactly where passes should be caught.

This game was lost due to mistakes from players that should never have happened and from the lack of adjustments to what the defense was doing.  I think if the players had done their job early on the game would have been over.  Does not excuse lack of adjustments.

Ima say a couple things to Cam presser

2nd half

When we come out in the 1st half scoring points, turning redzone trips to TD's when usually win and continue success in the 2nd half. That should be the number 1 focus. As much as we get down there, no excuse for us not averaging a MINIMUM of 3 offensive TD's per game

When we don't, I feel like I'm watching John Fox all over again. Terrible adjustments, TERRIBLE

Quicker pace

Definitely a point. They move like turtles. That'll help but it'll be even better if we spread defenses out while moving faster

Blurb from TMQ:

"Ron Rivera, Pack Your Bags: Cam Newton was 25-1 as a starter in college, and is 14-22 as a starter in the NFL. But football is a team sport. Three-time Pro Bowler Ryan Kalil barely even slowed his man on the safety that put Arizona in command in the third quarter. And should coaches really have called 48 passing plays for Newton versus 16 rushes for the team's running backs? The safety occurred when, ball on the 5, Panthers coaches radioed in a play that had Newton sprint backward into his own end zone. That's a call for an expert quarterback such as Drew Brees or Aaron Rodgers, not for Newton."

I guess TMQ  forgets Cams 90 plus yard TD to LaFell throwing it from his own endzone under extreme duress.

Interior blockers have to block inside rushers at the endzone. If they dont you're gonna get sacked, I dont care what your name is.

Here's a screencap from a random incomplete pass play I chose from coaches film.

I guarantee you, this was not the only one where Cam has absolutely 0 possibilities to get rid of the ball:

The only three people out in the route are ALL on the fuging 15 yard line. Why didn't Cam activate his jet-pack and fly over everyone, for a score. Bench/Trade/Cut Cam!!!!11

the ONLY possibility, although tight, was the comeback to Smith, which is a timing route greatly disturbed by a collapsing pocket.

possibly, buy you can see the illegal contact by PP to Smitty. It would not have been called. Had the ball been thrown perfectly, PP would knock Smitty down, no flag, for the pick.
