Obviously a mistake.  The NFL rules state 6 weeks.  We had our bye in week 4.  Lots of writers see 6 weeks and think 6 games.  IF and thats a big if, Stew is healthy and can contribute he can return this week against Stl.

Stewart said he expects to play this season. Still dealing with discomfort in right ankle.

I see his return hurting us instead of helping us, we already have one of the better rushing attacks in the NFL. We are set with D-Lo Tolbert and Cam.

 

Maybe use him in the passing game?

I feel like he's going to activated, there's a reason Amini hasn't been put on IR yet. Stewart will take his spot on the roster.

I guess, but I'm not getting my hopes up. St. Louis still has to prepare for Cam, D-will, and Tolbert. I don't think Stewart playing would change their game plan.

Well that's good...  I guess the question then is what he needs to do to get up to speed on the offense.

 

Honestly I wouldn't think that much...  on running plays...  take the ball and know what direction to go.  Blocking assignments could be an issue though...

Well, we have already replaced Amini with a center. Person said they haven't IR'd him because it would be a waste of a game check to sign somebody who wouldn't play.

This argument happened about a month ago and was solved. Some higher up reporter along with others stated that Stewart could return va. Rams. I want to say it was Adam shefter.

The PUP is for the first six weeks of the season. It doesn't count for games.
