The Return of Jonathan Stewart

"Stewart is focused on a return to action for Week 7, the earliest he will be eligible to return from the PUP list."

Obviously a mistake.  The NFL rules state 6 weeks.  We had our bye in week 4.  Lots of writers see 6 weeks and think 6 games.  IF and thats a big if, Stew is healthy and can contribute he can return this week against Stl.

Stewart would say this every week if he could, even when healthy.

I guess, but I'm not getting my hopes up. St. Louis still has to prepare for Cam, D-will, and Tolbert. I don't think Stewart playing would change their game plan.

Jones reported he looked fast in practice today.

Well that's good...  I guess the question then is what he needs to do to get up to speed on the offense.

Honestly I wouldn't think that much...  on running plays...  take the ball and know what direction to go.  Blocking assignments could be an issue though...

I had seen the rules listed different in some places. Some said 6 games , some 6 weeks with the bye week being the confusing factor.

This argument happened about a month ago and was solved. Some higher up reporter along with others stated that Stewart could return va. Rams. I want to say it was Adam shefter.
