whats crazy is that he's only had 2 offseasons with a pro-level strength and conditioning program. he can easily get bigger, stronger, and faster still. not to mention he's still only beginning to learn coverage schemes and coverage skills. when he finally peaks in 3-4 years we might be seeing a once in a generation kind of player

I am not a huge fan of PFF but Kuechly is a beast. He does so many things well. Even when he isn't making tackles hr is cutting off lanes and forcing runners back to help.

He sometimes seems to be non-existent during games, then I'll check the box-score and see that he had 10-15 tackles. Dude is a beast.

When I went to camp this year, I made a comment to Jordan Senn along the lines of "Eh man you gotta liven Luke up aight now" and he kind of responded like "nah man Luke's plenty lively dont you worry (smh)"

 

All I know is, he's got two very important years in with very good linebacker coaches. I look at that and how the whole young core of the team is showing that its taking on Smitty's persona . . makes me feel like my team is always going to be in the fight. #1 and #59 are going to take good care of this franchise.

Thomas Davis has been the better LB on our team. Luke has a lot of potential though.
