Star Lotulelei and Kawann Short

I believe a combined 4 TFL against the Rams and pressure throughout. Pushed the pocket, very distruptive. Who would have ever though that these two rookie DT's would be making this big of an impact so early in their careers? Especially with the rough transition rookie DT's have in the league.

Major props to our budding stars, Coach McDermott and Coach Washington for coaching these two studs up quickly.

Short's first step is actually getting better it seems. I'm still wary of the Rookie Wall crashing hard on them.

The bright star here is how much better they are going to become.

Stronger/Faster + Star/Short = Many lul's for Panthers fans.

I am too that's why Dwan coming back is much needed. Gotta keep the young guns fresh.

They're not taking as many snaps as they did in college and we have a good rotation, which will improve even more once Dwan gets back.

I'm not that worried about the rookie wall.

I'm just estatic that both are playing so well, particularly in the areas they aren't known for, ie: Star as a pass rusher and KK as a run defender.

    • I'm salty every time I see someones mid picks become stars while we throw first and second rounders over and over and they all stink outside of Tet (who still has a lot to prove, imo)
    • There is a contingent that is total Bryce but they weathervane with the wind. When the good Bryce wind blows about once or twice a month we hear a lot from them. But they are always pro Bryce, they just don’t pipe up too much when he sucks. I can’t speak for them, as far as what they are looking at.    In a second contingent, the collective mind is made up. He has had had basically three years worth of starts that might include a top tier outing or two, a few second tier outings, offset by about the same number of bottom tier outings which actually may have the edge there.  The rest of his stuff is third tier and that is going to be the bulk of his starts. We want to move on. And we aren’t getting off of that hill until he puts us off of it. He has not.    There is a third contingent that has no conviction and definitely weather vanes. Bryce is good. Bryce isn’t good. Depending on the latest game. They will buy into 7 on 7 success so that should tell you something.
    • Nacua is really fuging good. He might be a better version of Cooper Kupp.
