Panthers 79% chance to make playoffs

Only three teams with dougle digit prediction to win SB.  Kansas City, Seattle, and Carolina.  Apparently this site weights "defense wins championships" fairly heavy in their odds.

And 12.5% chance to win superbowl. Not sure how they calculate this, but I like their calculations for the Bucs. LOL

Panthers vs Broncos. Reference the Grantland article from earlier this week and you'll know why I say this. It's not homerism but it's based on the premise that history repeats itself.

Teams that have won four games in a row by 20 points and scored more than 30 have all gone to the playoffs. About half of those went to the Dance.

The Broncos and Panthers have both accomplished that feat this year. Place your bets now.

If we win at San Fransico no doubt we make the playoffs. I am predicting we beat patriots on the following monday night. This team is primed and ready to make a run this year. If we can get the offense clicking a little bit better no doubt we will back up what Steve Smith said and see Seattle deep in the playoffs.

    • The panthers are such a trash organization at this point that all the huddle can do is argue about which panthers team is historically the worst…good times.
    • Well, hope they're not worried about a torn Labrum or Rotator Cuff, as someone who went through that myself, I know those don't have anything show up on X-Rays but from the MRI, so this is kinda a nothing update, hope it's not a tear or his season is already over if they decide to do surgery now. Which is basically what would be needed to get him to 100% for the start of next season's training camp if it's a labrum.  If he plays the season with it and then does surgery, he's not going to be ready for camp and probably not the start of the season either.
    • I always try to not pay much attention to a team’s preseason win/loss record. The 1982 Washington and 2021 LA Rams both lost every game in the preseason and went on to win the Super Bowl, whereas the 2008 Detroit Lions and 2017 Cleveland Browns both won every game in reason and went on to lose every regular season game. There’s many examples of teams that lose in preseason that go on to have good seasons, but equally there are teams that lose in preseason and that continues in the regular season. Which will we be?  I think our floor is a handful of wins, while our ceiling will probably be around the 9-10 win mark. The latter will require significant improvement from the whole team and coaching staff, and will also need Bryce to play like the QB we drafted him to be. I want to be optimistic and predict a winning season, but it’s really difficult as a Panthers fan!
